MommyBoo,
I am trying to open it. The first thing it does is ask me if I want to save it. Is that what it is supposed to do? I would love to see it.

Hey is there going to be anyone at the Poly around Oct. 22 - 29th with a boy around 13 years old? My 13 yr. old DS is always bored with me and his 6 yr. old sister. Maybe they could hang out together.

When it asks you if you want to Save or Open it, just click "Open" to see the chart.

:cheer2: We (my husband and two children ages 4-daughter & 7-son) will be going September 28th through October 4th. This will be my first flying experience. Also first stay at a WDW resort. :) Frankly, I am looking forward to everything. My husband and kids have never been to Florida much less WDW, so I can't wait to see their faces. There are so many things I want to do while we are there and look forward to participating in the MNSSHP. Our first night (we arrive at 4:00 pm and staying at POFQ) I plan for us to attend the Hoopdee Doo Review. Heard its a good show. Day #1-plan on going to MK and hoping to book breakfast at Cindarella's Castle, Day #2-splitting the day between MGM and Epcot-with Princess storybook breakfast at Epcot and dinner at Coral Reef. Day #3-Animal Kingdom-lunch at Rainforest Cafe and character dinner at 1900 Park Fare, Day #4-Sea World, Day #5-Universal Studios, Day #6-last day-return home- :guilty: Plan on fitting in horse and carriage ride, pony rides, a little fishing at hotel during stay-will go with the flow. Wish we had longer to stay, but looking soooooooooooo forward to every single minute of the time we have there. Any suggestions for best attractions for 4 & 7 year olds welcome. :wave2:

We will be going October 1-8. First time ever for us. Going for my 30th birthday. Taking wife and my two kids, 4 and 6. So far staying offsite in a condo. Hoping the Halloween party is happening. Have no idea of how to organize this trip but we found a great deal on airfare and booked it. So we are definately going. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. What to see and what not to miss, what type of tickets are best. Advantages of staying on site versus the condo. Thanks in advance.

There is one other site besides this one that I think has all the information you need. it is www.allearsnet.com. We have stayed off site before. It worked for us because there were other things we were doing besides Disney. The past 2 times we have been on site and love it. We rely totally on Disney transportation so we don't have to worry about renting a car. I know some people rent cars to give them that extra little bit of freedom.

The Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is supposed to be a great time. This site has the dates posted, but tickets are not on sale yet. Kepp watching for them... maybe on or around May 1st is what I have been reading.

Hope you and your family have a wonderful vacation!!

Hi,
We are planning our first trip to DW. We were planning to go in Sept. But then I saw so many people like going in Oct. Why do so many of you like going in October? Is the weather better? Better things to do. Could you tell me if their is a big change in things in Sept vs. Oct? Also if anyone could tell me some must do/see things there, I would appreciate it. I have a 2,4,8 year old. Also where do you suggest we stay? How is the ocean in Sept/Oct?Thanks for all your help! Marci

I chose Oct because of my daughters birthdays. Oct 21st and Nov 1st (going the week in between). I think Sept is the same as Oct... warm Ocean, warm days and nights, low rain fall , unless still having hurricanes. Season Ends "officially" Oct 1st, Not as many people with school going on.

Heathriel,

Thank You very much for the link!! That is exactly what I needed to be able to open the list up.
And now that I can see the list.... GREAT JOB, MommyBoo!! To think it is only March. The list is going to keep growing.

To Zurgswife:

I noticed your name is on the bottom of the list for the same time I will be there but it does not list the resort. I am sorry I picked you out of the bunch but your name is the only one that sounds familiar to me. I see it lot on the boards or maybe it is because it is an easy name for me to remember. My memory has never been that great.
Anyway, I will have my lime green Mickey Ears on and I will be looking for you all. Hopefully, I will actually meet one of my fellow diser's this time. :wave2:

I had to change my dates so I will now be there Oct. 8 -16 still staying at Wilderness Lodge

Me, DH and DS 4 will be staying at CSR Sept. 30th to Oct. 8th. We will be going to our 2nd MNSSHP on Oct. 4th!!!!!!!!!!

MommyBoo! - Please, please add me and DH to your list. We are going from Oct 15-23 (all the way from California!) and staying at Vistana Villages. Mostly going for the F&W Fest. And a day at Kennedy, a day at AK. This is our 4th trip to WDW, DH only "tolerates" it, so he is more agreeable to go with a lot of eating and drinking going on :cool1: We cannot wait. I hope to read some reviews about the Lunch N Learn and Signature Dinners, want to try those. No days at Magic Kingdom, we live 30 miles from DL and go all the time. Oh, and the thing I am most excited for...the Segway Tour :)

The time between Columbus Day and Thanksgiving is a great time to go; the parks are less crowded, the weather is less humid and temperature less scorching, and the Food and Wine Festival is going on. Also, in October there is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on some nights, which is a fun thing to do.

Because the parks are less crowded, I've found it MUCH easier to get Priority Seating and tour reservations than in, say, early September.

Rental cars and airfare are generally cheaper during that time period as well. The hotels are in Value season, so their prices are slightly less than some parts of Septemer.

Of course, if you can't get away from work/school in October, it will never be the best time for YOU to go :)

October is so popular that it is regular rather than value season. In fact, now November is also regular season until the Sunday after Thanksgiving!

I stand corrected on the Value season comment :)

However - I still think that the weeks between Columbus Day and Thanksgiving are MUCH less crowded than September.

MommyBoo - don't think I'm on the list yet (will have to get DH to pull it up when he gets home, I'm computer illiterate).

DH and I will be at the Swan from 9/29 - 10/2 - then DH flying home and I'm moving over to BWV when the rest of the fam comes down from 10/2 - 10/7 - then DS is flying down and we're moving over to PBH for weekend at USF - flying home 10/10.

We are going for a short weekend trip 10-28 to 10-31, we are staying at Yacht Club.

I am looking forward to the Halloween Party and just having some alone time with my Husband this is a trip for our first anniversary, we honeymooned in Disney last year:)

We are going on a Land/ Sea Cruise. We will be at the parks from 10/30-11/2. We will be at the Carribbean Beach Resort.
