i always start packing around 9 at night on the night before i leave.

if there is something i don't pack because i don't have it at home,
i buy it once i get to orlando at the airport or at the hotel.

I've started packing some of the "entertain the kids in the car". And I have a packing list started.

School starts tomorrow so I'll have more time next week.

What would make you guys cancel you OCT vacation ?

My daughter was in the hospital for 2 days for roto virius and now the gas prices we honestly can not afford it anymore . We are HIGHLY debating to cancel

Mommyboo! I don't know if we're on the list or not! We HAD ASMu booked for Oct 3-9, MNSSHP on the 6th, and there IS a spot on the list with that exact info, but no name next to it! I don't know if thats us or not, but if it is, we just added 3 nights! So we'll be there from Sept 30th - Oct 9th!!!

I am soo sorry you may have to cancel your trip!! I know how upset I would be if I had to even consider such a thing. I hope your daughter is doing well. And maybe like mommyboo said, you could just postpone it. Good luck!!

Yesterday my dd found out none of her friends are in her class this year. Again, for the 2nd year she has been seperated even further from her friends (she's going in 3rd grade) Her tears are heartwrenching, her reasoning is sound, she doesnt want to hear "pat" answers, you'll see them at lunch, recess etc. But not for field trips, you may not sit by your friends, but by your class, not for drama, or music, or art, or gym...

Luckily I could say, but we're going to Disney in a month!
