Jan 30-Feb 6 POR! 22 days! Can't wait - hope it's warmer there than it is now!

Yippee!! Just booked our Mardi Gras trip!!! This will be our third trip on our APs. Hope to get a fourth trip in late May!!!

We are in WDW from 2/14-2/19 staying at Bonnet Creek. (couldn't get ressies at BWV this time )

But we are starting our Florida adventure on 2/10, when we land in Miami. We will go to the Everglades, snorkle in Key Largo, shell and Kayak w/ Mantees in Ft. Myers for a couple of days, then beat feet to WDW on 2/14. We will cap the trip off with a visit to Cape Kennedy and a day on the beach. Then back home to the rain in Seattle.

I am in the throws of mad planning right now. Got all the ressies, working on touring plans, menus, and shopping and packing lists.

I am over the moon excited , but it hasn't hit my family yet, even with my nightly planning reports at dinner - unbelievable!

President's Day Week at Bay Lake Towers

I am considering booking for the week of February 19-26th. Has anyone ever been there around that same time of year to let me know how weather can be? I have a 9 year old son who feels it is a must to go swimming. Help....

We've been there that week 7 times and the weather is quite unpredictable. One year it was in the 80's the whole time and the year before that it never got above 70. It all depends on the year. For the most part though, the weather is usually nice. Besides that one time when it never got above 70, every other time we went down there it was always above 60 and rarely rained.

Our vacation requests were finally approved! We just booked air and rental car for Feb 15-23. We will be staying off site at my parents villa.

Got my magical express tix today! Woohoo! Only problem is, it says Contemporary and we just switched to the Poly! I can just white out the word Contemporary and change it to Poly, right?

Hey girlie. I had this same problem in October when Bailey and I switched from POFQ to WL. I just crossed it out with a sharpie and wrote WL on it and then told the gal at the ME check in desk that I had changed resorts, but noted it on my ME tags. She did make a note of something somewhere so be sure to tell them when you check in for ME

Hey there! Yes, I'm double checking because the same year you switched from POFQ to WL, I kept my old tags on and the ME people at the airport told me I didnt' have to change anything on the tags because it was barcoded and it would go to the WL because it's what is in the system...and of course, we checked in to the WL by noon and went to the MK all day and when we returned at seven pm...no bags. I went downstairs and they called around and they had been sitting around POFQ all day! So we couldn't go swimming or anything that first day because our luggage didn't show up til first thing the next morning. I wanted to make sure that didn't happen again!

Still not February?

So tonight I started making a list of everything i want to do this trip. I only want to visit 2 parks in 8 days, but I want to do a nice bit of resort hopping, shopping, relaxing, and other things. I'm worried now I won't have enough time to do it all Last year I never found time to visit some of the resorts I've never been to and I would love to try to visit them again this year, so we'll see how that goes.

Also, I have a question for all February goers. My dad has always talked about the value resorts filling up first, which I do believe. So after going online today I found out rooms were still available for President's day week at the Pop and All Star Resorts So do you think this is a sign of the times and means crowds could be alittle less Just curious, I don't really care either way, but it could be nice to see lighter crowds.

My little family are going the week of Mardi Gras Feb 14-20. It's a Louisiana tradition. Be on the look out for us Cajuns in Florida. We'll be wearing purple, gold, and green colored shirts with of course the beads.
