Who's going in February 2008?

we were going feb 2 but when my dh realized it was the superbowl he made me change our plans. we will leave feb 4 and stay till the 10th. we are also from louisiana new Iberia.

we went for mardi gras 2006 and it was not the same time as presidents week . It was crowded but the waits for the rides were not long. On average we waited in line about 10 to 15 minutes and we rode everything. It was a great time to go the weather was very nice .

Got my ADR's done! Here's my list not in order....Crystal Palace-Breakfast (before park opens:cool1: ), Tony's, 50's primetime cafe, coral reef, hoop de doo, olivia's.

Some of these are subject to change depending on what restaurants are added to the DP. I scheduled Olivia's for the night of what MIGHT be the P&PP, if they have it next year. We like eating at the resort before heading to the park for the party.:thumbsup2

I will get excited as soon as I get my reservations straightened out for the 1st through the 6th. We booked a room only at WL through AAA, then converted it to a package with the DDP. I made all of my ADR's and not once did my travel agent or CM let me know about the changes to the DDP. Most of the reservations I booked were at restaurants not in the plan. Sooooo then we cancelled the package to revert back to room only with tickets. Everything has gotten so confused, I'm not sure if I have two rooms or none.

Oh no!! I'm sorry your plans got so mixed up. That sounds awful and stressful!!

From what I'm gathering by reading different threads is that more restaurants will probably jump on board the DP before February. It's still early and from what I understand they have the choice to sign on or not. It just seems to me that they would create a deadline for these restaurants to sign on so that when they put out the brochure it actually has the right information on it.:confused3

Oh well, hope you get it all straightened out soon so you can have some FUN while planning.;)

Thank you. It looks like I finally have "room only" reservations. We decided to abort the dining plan and keep our adr's we had made. Now I am getting excited. I checked ***************** and the crowd level will only be a 6 for one day....the rest are 4's and 5's so we are thrilled!

we are also there feb2-9 staying at BWV and taking our next door neighbors with for their 40th anniversary and their 1st trip. got the meal plan and our adr's ...this is the first time we'll be there that time of year so I'm pretty excited about going there when it will be :cold: here.
and we'll be at the espn club on superbowl sunday -especially if the STEELERS are playing in it!! :thumbsup2

My family will be there the 6th - 12th.
We're staying at All Star Movies.
:D :D :D :D :D :D

Does anyone know if Disney Quest will still be there in Feb?
I heard it was closing?

I found this when i did a search:
come January of 2008 (Reportedly right after the Christmas crowds go home) -- DisneyQuest will close its doors forever. And then -- after several months of extensive construction -- this distinct structure will eventually re-emerge as Downtown Disney's new EZPN Zone.

We are going on our first family trip February 7-16!

My kids are going to be 8, 9 and just under a year. I'm going with my partner and my mom. I've been to Disney World as a kid, first at about 3 or 4, around 12, and twice as a teenager. I don't remember a lot!

typing w baby now -- we are staying at pop with 2 rooms, hopefully adjoining. we are planning 2 days in all the parks each, and have an enormous amount of adrs booked as we are hoping to male the most of the deluxe dining plan. i figure better booked and canceled if we want sponteneity!

we are flying down and using the magic express.

really looking forward to our trip.

I will be at BCV Feb.3-9th..........

It is going to be GREAT.....

Well we are taking the kids for their first trip from 1 Feb - 7 Feb. We will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge.

Our first trip to Disney is Feb 2 -10th 2008 staying off site

DD5 (6 then) and I will be down for a surprise trip Feb 7-10. I had a few points left over for the year, so thought it would be some good bonding time. We are booked at BCV, but are waitlisted for VAKL if we can get a savannah view.

Would anyone be interested in getting an 8some (or more) together, registering as a grand gathering and doing the Magical Fireworks Cruise? It's the one with Peter Pan. I've wanted to do it, but we are never more then 4 and can't sign up on our own:sad1:

I haven't done any ADR's yet because we are going in SIX DAYS for 8 nights and I want to see what she likes the most so we can do it again. Getting a little worried, but we'll have to wait and see.

Hello, we are going for the first time from Feb 1 to the 17. Its me, wife and four kids (11,9,8,4). We are staying at Bonnet creek.
