Who's going for Easter /Spring Break?

We're heading home for Easter. Our exact accomodations are still up in the air ( waitlist)

We did BWV last year, the week before Easter, then drove up to HH for Easter. We will NEVER do WDW again during school break. NEVER. This year we are taking the Wonder 4 night and then HH for 6 more nights, all beginning on 4/24; our spring break. Cannot wait!

BWV Good Friday through the following Saturday.

See you there. I will be the one with the two cute girls :)

We're doing something very different Spring Break/Easter this year. My wife is going on a mission trip with a group from our Church to the Bahamas during that week (they were going to work on building a Church, but I imagine now will be rebuilding homes). My 25yo daughter is also on Spring break that week (she works at same school as my DW) and I asked her if she would be interested in going down to WDW that week while DW is away and she jumped at the chance. So we have ressies for a Studio at BWV that week. This will be the first vacation in 33 years that I've taken without DW. DD and myself are really looking forward to the trip though. She likes WDW about as much as me and we figure we can do alot of things we normally wouldn't do when DW is along - like maybe set a record for the number of consecutive rides on Tower of Terror :). I asked DD if she could stand being alone with old Dad for a solid week and she said sure. If we get tired of each other, she said we could always do some apart things and stayed connected by cell phone.

That is fabulous WolfpackFan!

Nothing sweeter than a Dad and daughter spending some time together! I hope my girls are as close to their Dad when they're that age, too!

Have fun! :Pinkbounc

We will be spending Easter weekend with DH's family in Tampa and I had reservations for Monday after Easter until Friday at HH. Not too many points and on the way home.

THEN, I changed our reservation to OKW, checking in Easter Sunday and out on Friday. I bought the Unofficial Guidebook to help me plan this one.

I hope I don't regret the decision, since I do recall going a couple of years ago during spring break and swearing that I wouldn't do that again--mostly the drive home (took us until after midnight to get out of Florida!) and trying to walk down the street at MGM (won't even try to go to MGM this time) was awful. But this time, when we check out on Friday, we will head to Ormond Beach for a night to stay with DH's brother and try to make the drive on Saturday back home, hoping it to be better than a Friday (with rush hours).

We will not do parks everyday and will avoid early entry parks, for sure. I just can't pass the chance to be in WDW! even though we are going for two weeks in the summer of '05. :earsgirl:
I am hoping to enjoy nice weather in spring, but I know it can be cool and even rainy at the end of March. Looking forward to possibly relaxing in WDW (as if we had gone to HH) and spending time doing non park things like walking to DTD from OKW (we've never done that) and seeing a movie.

We will be at VWL in a 1BR from 3/26 - 4/1.

DW is a teacher so Easter week is our only option that time of year. We expect it to be crazy but I know DD and DS won't mind!

We will be spending Easter at SSR in a 2-bedroom. We arrive on 3/26 and will depart on 4/1.

I hope that the crowds are manageable. We were there last Christmas and it was crazy! Plan on spending a lot of time at the resort.
