Who's going - CKC Manchester?

Well I switched up my classes again. My vacation day got denied at work (LONG STORY!!!) So I switched things around a bit. I had emailed the CKC folks to see if a friend can pick up my class kit for me but that would then also require them to be able to check in for me and I'm not so sure they would do that. I was able to switch days for my 11:10 class, but I really don't want to switch into the 8:30 Sat Disney class so the goal is to leave work at noon and make it up there in time for the 1:50 class.

THAT is TERRIBLE! 3 months notice for ONE DAY and they turned you DOWN? Ridiculous! that is certainly demotivating.

LOL ... hadn't even noticed (thought I should have considering I signed you up!

I also heard from CKC today that I can just pick my class packs up after the face in case I can't make it for the Disney class.

This is my third year going, so I thought I would add my name to the list of people going from the DISboards.....It is my first year taking classes, mostly Technique Tuesday and Button Farm...I usually barely make it out of those two booths at the show! Look forward to meeting up with any fellow DISers at the show.

longer I need a me weekend. This weekend of sugaring has killed me. I was not ready for the slidding around in the mud. To top it off my boss hasn't been felling well and may be out parts of this week...................... I'm not sure there is enough advil in the house for me today.
Okay off to vac and mop then to the heating pad on the couch with my list of ckc notes. I can at least dream right?

Linda who knows it froze good last night and it's running to beat the band again today. Grade came back up to medium last night, still not sure about that but I'll take it. Looking back over the years we've still gone to begining of april................. I'll tell you better in a few weeks

So as if my brain didn't have enough to think about it started thinking about cropping in the room and which table will fold and fit in the suitcase and then it dawns on me that moms car is a crv and it has a table that makes the back deck....... ummm the possibilities that opened up.

Okay.... it has taken me forever and a day to get back to this thread and add my list of classes. But here it is.

But I want to ask you all.... would I have any luck if I wanted to cancel my enrollment in a class or two? I just booked a short trip to WDW for DS and myself for the following weekend and I am feeling a bit guilty about the $$ I spent. How are they about refunds??

Anyhow, here is what I am currently signed up for...


Thursday : 12 - 5 pm Preview Crop
6:30 - 9:30 CK Sketches Workshop

Friday: 8:30 - 9:30 Creative Color Combinations
1:50 - 2:50 pm Disney Magic
7 - 11:30 pm Celebration Crop

Saturday: 1:50 - 2:50 pm So Many Pictures...
7 - 11:30 pm Super Saturday Crop


So there you have it.

If I can cancel any of my reservations, I'd like to know what most of you are doing before I cancel. I would most likely want to cancel the "So many pictures" class on Saturday and maybe the Super Saturday Crop??

I'll read back through the thread to see what most of you are attending.

BTW, my newly booked trip with DS DEFINITELY eliminates me from staying over at the Radisson any nights....but I live close enough that it isn't an issue.... I just wanted to stay for the "fun" factor!

I think you can cancel up until April 12th.... that's what I overheard the other day.

If it has any influence on your choics, you appear to be the only one on Thursday, both afternoon and evening, at the Celebration Crop on Friday, and at the Saturday crop. (Unless the "believen" group is attending. I have no info)

I am sorry, I am not going to be able to make it! The more we ( my dsis, dmom, and dd) planned the more we realized we should go when we can stay longer. We are trying for late May. Too bad I don't have an unlimited supply of money- I'd be there!

Well... without sounding too much like I am inviting myself along on anything, I will skip the Friday and/or Saturday crops if there is any sort of DIS ladies get-together scheduled. Otherwise I might still go to both crops. I really need to meet some fellow scrappers from my area.... I am kind of in a scrapping vacuum here. I honestly don't have any scrapping friends!

At this point in time I am thinking of giving up the "So many pictures" class on Saturday (I browsed through and I didn't see anyone else scheduled for it) and possibly the Saturday night crop. I may be too tired to function by that point! But I'm REALLY excited about the other things I have scheduled and am not ready to give them up!!
