Who's going August/September of 08?

DH and myself will be back on 14th september 2008 for 12 nights - staying on property for the first time!!!!

Split resorts though, starting AKL and ending BWV :-)

This will be our first family trip to Disney World- me, dh, dd (7) and ds(3). We are going from August 2-9 and staying at Fort Wilderness campground.

Everyone keeps telling me we are crazy to go during August because of the heat, but we'll be there anyway, and hopefully enjoying every minute of it.

Kristin

We'll be there at the same time! Heat isn't too bad (but I live near Myrtle Beach--ha!) You'll be fine. I'd rather be hot in Disney than not there at all!

Booking a trip this week for the first week in September. We've never been in September and have no idea what to expect as far as crowds.

Our last trip was in Jan 07 and crowds were nice. Before that it was early June and crowds were average.

Can anyone shed some light as to what it'll be like in Early September?

going to be there 8/31-9/6 for our 1 1/2 year anniversary. (I know, people don't celebrate that, but we honeymooned on spring break and are NOT going back to the parks in March!)

I can't wait to go. I wish August would come faster!!! :cheer2:

We, DH and me will be at POP (first time there) Sept 19-25 thanks to the bounceback program.

I will be there with my son and niece (both 16) at the Contemporary from August 15 to August 24. Can't wait!!!! I am finally making our ADRs tomorrow morning! :woohoo:

We are planning for mid-September. If not then, possibly early December.

Hi Everyone, We are hopeing to go the last 2 weeks in September & we'll be having our disney wedding there :lovestruc This will be our second trip to the world - can't wait to go back! :goodvibes

Hello to everyone. The cast of characters for this trip will be Mom and Dad only. We have 4 children ages 11,9,6,& 6. We will be leaving them at home with the Grandparents for this adult trip. We have not been to Disney World alone since our Disneymoon 13 years ago. We are not mean horrible parents who would leave there kids at home while we enjoy WDW. We are taking them in May for a week. We just bought into DVC and have the points available for an us get away. We will be buying AP passes with our DVC discount so we want to make sure we get the full value.:rotfl: We are going to do the Deluxe dining plan and try those restaurants we would never do with the kids. We plan a lot of Epcot touring and drinking. We will be staying at Boardwalk Villas.:cool1:

:wishthirty

going the same time 8/29 to 9/7. friends of ours are doing the bounce back and got the free dining. we really hope they offer the free dining. they been for the past few years.... going to pofq

Looks like the wife and I will be there on Sept 27th for sure. Just signed up for the AK 5K race.

Gotta start training now since niether of us have done a race before....:upsidedow

:yay: We will be at All Star Sports Aug 12-21 going for my kiddos birthday! :yay: Just made our adr's the other day, the count down is on!:thumbsup2

We are going August 29 thru Sept 6. We're staying at all star movies. Never stayed on the resort before or done more than one park in one day so it's all new to us. We got park hoppers with the water parks and dining. I am hoping a discount or free dining comes up. That'd be wonderful! Anything to convince my husband that $3200 really isn't a bad price.

We'll be at the CR on 8/9 and then moving over to the Poly from 8/10-8/16 when our 30% off bounceback takes effect. :cool1:
