We'll be there 7/29 to 8/7.
We are staying at All Star Sports, I have the AAA rate but I'm hoping for a better AP rate!

We'll be there Aug 26-Sept 4.
I am nervous about the crowds-expecting the worst! We have only ever been in Feb, May, Sept., Oct. and Dec. All quiet times..well once we went the first week of June, and only went to the parks 2 days because MK was so crowded. I was 6 months pregnant at the time so I wasn't in the mood to deal with crowds...plus it was about 95 degrees every single day
I'm hoping this trip will be okay!
We'll make the best of it, no matter what!

We are toying with the idea of going from the 8/26 to 9/2. Best time to go, don't be nervous about the crowds they usually lessen since most of the schools in the country go back in early August. We are in the northeast and our schools don't go back till the first week of September. Line times are usually 10-20 minutes max.

We'll be there the exact same time as the OP. August 28-September 3. Staying at All Star Movies. We're a family of 5, twins that will be 5 and a 2 1/2 year old. I'm a little nervous about the heat and possible crowds. I have to admit to being a little "commando" when it comes to vacations. So, I'm trying to prepare myself that I might not see everything I want to. It's the first disney vacation for everyone in the family (except me, but I went 15 years ago!)

Hi Debs5angels

We will be at the POP from Aug.28-31st and then to the POLY Concierge until the 3rd. We have 2 DDs (12 and 8) and a DS(5). I will keep an eye out for your tribe. It would be kind of cool to actually meet someone from the DIS.

JoyG--I went last year during this time with my DD(8) and we had a fantastic time. The crowds were very low . It was very hot but we had a plan, carried a "camelback" full of iced lemonade and swam/rested in the afternoons. We had such a good time that we are bringing the rest of the family back again this year

One note--value season starts on Aug 28th for the values and mods. I read somewhere about rates being different when your stay goes over the rate change. Something to check out.

What is everyone doing to get ready

The waiting is killing me!!!

I have thought about which parks on what days but figure I should wait until the hours and EMH dates come out. Now we are looking at rest. reviews and having the kids come up with thier lists of "must do".

Im going from july 31- Aug 10th ten glorious nights, 3 at pop, 3 at carribean and 4 at AKL concierge!!!!!

Cannot wait for this trip after a mini-vacation in November we need a full WDW trip this time.

Pop Century is the place, save $$$ on room for more days and better food.

We will be there from 8/6-8/14. We spend the night on the 6th at ASMo and then move over to SSR on the 7th. I will be ther with DW, DD4, DSIL, DSIL, DN10, DN 8, DBIL, DMIL and DFIL. Should be an awesome trip!

DS & I are going towards the end of August - exact dates & resorts are fully dependant on what AP rates come out for when. Hoping to split stay between Dolphin/Swan & CR or GF.

I just knew you all were out there and it looks like a lot of us will be at POP at the same time (for a few days anyway). I will be there with my DH and DD(13 by then). We check in at POP on August 31 for 3 nights then on to WL for 5 nights. We will have AP's, our first!! I have had a plan as far as which park, which days but expect that all to change as hours and EMH are released. I know where I want to eat and already have reservations for Hoop De Doo! I hope to see some lime green as I always look and have never seen any but with so many of you at POP at the same time I don't know how we can miss!! I will continue to plan and replan and then replan again to pass the time and of course continue to read the boards. Have fun planning and I hope I see some of you there!
