Hello All! I'm from MA originally but now live in Manchester, NH and have no plans of moving back to MA anytime soon (if ever!). I'm glad that winter is over and that this holiday weekend is shaping up to be warm and sunny!

Anyone from the Liconia Area? I know Bike Week is starting and you must be loving that!! A couple Hundred Thousand crazy people invading your quite little community. If the weather is good I'm thinking of taking a ride up to the lake.

I live about 30-40 minutes north of Laconia, so I only see a bit of the overflow and outskirts mostly, though there's occasionally large masses of bikers going by.

Although, on a note that is both humorous and frustrating, our local dance place that both of my DD's attend holds their annual recital next Sunday, in Meredith (right next door to Laconia, and home to one of the largest Harley dealers in the region)... and they've done this same tradition in years past as well. Someone needs to rethink the scheduling.

We go to Bennington every year at the Curtis Homestead. Not a long trip for me as we live in Hillsboro. But many family members come from all over the world.

OMG!!! I finally "met" someone who goes there! I live only a half-mile from there! (that's a fun little section of No. Bennington Rd in the winter, I'll tell ya!). We knew there was a family gathering in the summer months but I had no idea it was that big!

Londonderry here! My neighbor from across the street got me onto the DIS and into DVC. We are always chatting out by the mailboxes about all the new news and rumors and upcoming plans. DH calls him my Disney boyfriend!

oh me... can I be from NH, I was their till I was 13 and then moved to NH byt my mom and all my family still lives there, I get to go home and visit July 4-11th. Can't wait. I was from a little town called Barrington and my family lives in Lee and Rochester.

That is so cool! We will be there Dec 7th through the 14th (Departure Day ) at POP! I was just in Concord last Tuesday. My DS7 goes to a Pediatric Dentist there. I have to drive an hour to get there!

Nice to meet you LegoMom, The homestead has at least a thousand family members that gather the 1st full weekend in August, Is there too much noice? The rest of the summer there are a few that come up for weekends and vacations.

We live on the seacoast in NH. Going back in January 2009 for marathon weekend. I'm doing the half for the second time (2008 was my first). Can't wait!

For everyone talking about a meet, there have been some before at Canobie Lake. I think the thread is usually on the DIS meets board.
