I am in NH too. I grew up in Londonderry, moved to windham, hudson, and now live in Chester with my husband and 4 kids! We are planning a big trip for 12 days in September with free dining at POR.

We'll be at POR for 8 days in September!! LOVE that resort.

SO JEALOUS!! I wanna go!!! We stayed at POR in 2006 before cruising on the Disney Wonder for our wedding. Love, love, love POR. We stayed at AKL this past May- truely amazing! ASMU too- fun!! I now work for a travel agency in Lebanon part time just doing Disney Destination vacations so I plan on trying a new resort next time for the experience!!

The travel agency is actually at DHMC. I work full time in West Lebanon at the New England School of Hair Design and I also do Creative Memories parties on the side. I have known the owner of the agency for a while and she helped woth our last trip. SHe was so impressede with my Disney knowledge (thanks to the DIS boards) that she offered me a job. 99% of the work I can do from home. It helps me with my Disney addiction. Now I can live vicariously thru others vacations!!

My DH works for Hypertherm, Inc. He just did the Ultimate Prouty 200 mile bike ride to help raise money for cancer research. It's always neat to meet someone who's from close by.

My family will be staying at Pop from 12/7-12/14 2008. This is the second time we have gone to Disney. The first time we also stayed at Pop in December 2006.

It must be really cool helping people to go to a place that you been to before and have enjoyed the experience.

We are looking at staying at the Pop in April- do you love it?? We stayed at POR in 2006 and AKL and ASMu this past May. We have also been on the Disney Wonder 2 times- absolutly love the cruise!! My DH and I were married on the Wonder in 2006. We would like to druise again next year or in 2010 but with gas, groceries, electricity and everything else going up like crazy, I think we will do Disney in April for and then save for the first sailing of one of the new ships in 2011. This is my dream!!!

Its very cool to meet someone that lives close by. My DH grew up in Newport and Claremont. His Dad still lives in Newport.

We loved staying at Pop! Ecspecially(sp?) at Christmas time. We've stayed in the 70s building and hope to stay in the 50s building this time around.

Not impressed with the weather we have been having. Looks like we could be getting more rain this afternoon. I hope everyone on here has been staying safe from those nasty storms.

I agree... the weather sucks.
I would love to hang out some laundy and enjoy the summer.
Luckily we have missed most of the severe weather in southwestern NH.

We were at my parents vacation house in Conway this passed weekend-the weather was not a team player !!!! On Friday we drove over to Standish/Steepfalls ME., to Acres of Wildlife campground to visit a group of friends, there were horriable storms over there. When we got back to Conway in the afternoon-DOWN POURS!!! Saturday we did luck out and spent the day at Attitash, just a couple of showers and rumbles of thunder. Sunday-forget it, after some shopping heading home early. Wish you all better weather -but down here in MA its been the same !

So who else is in this lovely flood watch for tomorrow?! Right now it looks like Cheshire and central/western Hillsborough county (that's me!). We live a half-mile from the Contoocook River. Our house is not in danger of flooding but during the storms of April '07, all three roads out of this neck of town were flooded over and we couldn't get out for 3 days!! Yikes.

I thought they were showing my county, Sullivan, earlier on the 6 o'clock news but I don't see it on the WMUR website.

Just had some heavy rain go through Newport. My DirectTV lost it's signal it was so bad.

Please, no more flooding! We've had to sandbag the dam in the town I work for 3 times now. The 4th will not be any more pleasant than the first 3 Something about shoveling a mountain of dirt in the pouring rain. It loses its appeal after the first 10 minutes or so...

We just returned. I was at Universal Studios store wearing a Red Sox World Series Champion t-shirt and the clerk said he didn't like me. I asked why ? He said he is a yankees fan!!
