Who thinks like that? How many couples actually decide to add more stress to wedding planning and pile on building a house? That's right... not buying, BUILDING. :scared1: I know many people are stressed out, and many people could handle it, but we really had to do it all at the same time? I'm so not one of those people!

Hi all, I'm Kristen. I'm a full-time second grade teacher, part-time children's libarian, part-time tutor, future bride (May 21st!!), and new home owner. With all that's happening (including a horrible winter and a fiance that drives the snowplow and is often moody in the winter) I'm looking forward to a vacation (or, as it will be referred to this year, our honeymoon ). That's how this Disney trip got planned.

This is my first ever pre-trip report, first trip report ever actually, so bear with me! It's going to be a good time!

I'm really excited about this trip. Kyle (my future husband) has only been to Disney once before. I took him in 2006 (our second summer together). I had been many times as a child and went again in 2005 with my best friend Jen (blueeyes101817 on the boards). When I got home Kyle was all about going, so I booked the trip. We stayed at POP (I had the summer before) and we spent one day in MK and one in Epcot. He didn't hate it, but it wasn't his favorite place on earth either. He had no issues with me going with Jen again in 2007 to celebrate our college gradution, or last summer with my friend Melissa.

That's why I almost choked when I started talking about our honeymoon and he suggested Disney. For real? You didn't like it! Really? Can we go? Kyle admitted that he had not given Disney a fair shot in 2006. He was really looking forward to going to Daytona (our second destination that summer) and isn't keen on going new places and not knowing what to expect. But he seems excited now, especially at the idea of not spending all of our time at the parks. Alright!!

Here we are closer to home (Hersheypark). He appears to be having fun!

I'm looking at going the week of July 10th (we're getting married in May, but I can't afford to leave my students that long). Anyone know how busy it is with it being right after Fourth of July? We seem settled on Carribean Beach. I've never stayed there, but I'm concerned about buses so I'm taking my time with booking anything.

I'm in!

I can't help with the crowd levels for the time you will be there, I've only been to Disney in September, but I love to read about plans for honeymoons at Disney since that is where we went for ours.

I'm in! Congratulations on the upcoming wedding!

I've been to WDW in July once, right after graduation high school. Went with a group of friends stayed at All Star Sports the week of July 4th. It was crowded (and hot), but we were able to have a really good time and do everything we wanted. Granted, this was a while ago (1998, no Fastpass and Animal Kingdom had just opened)... I'm sure someone with more recent experience can give you a better idea!

Yay readers! Hi, and thanks for joining me!!

On a side note... I just realized that the title of my thread is completely wrong and I want to assure you that I'm not illiterate!:rotfl2: Sorry about my mistake!

I was thinking that it's got to be VERY hot. I went last June and it was bad. But, we also went full days, racing to every ride, all extra magic hours, and really pushed ourselves. This trip won't be like that (if Kyle has his say!). I put in my leave slip this morning, so it's looking like July. I haven't booked anything yet. Still wondering about CBR. I want to do a bit more research on the buses.

Two snow days this week so I addressed some invitations and picked the house colors (granite countertops, cabinets, carpet, tile, shingles, siding, shutters). It's getting closer! All this stress must be getting to me, I've lost 10 lbs already this year. I can't wait to try on my wedding dress again tonight!

Wedding stress is one of the best weight loss tool out there :rotfl: I lost 70 lbs in the 16 months I spent planning my wedding. I thought my seamstress was going to kill me she had to take in my dress so many times.
