I am taking my first ever SOLO-BY MYSELF-ALL ALONE(except for the thousands of other guests!) trip to WDW September 15-18. I have my flight (I even changed the return flight from 3:00 to 7:00 so I could have ANOTHER whole day ALL BY MYSELF), and my ressie at PC, and I just can't stand the wait. I get to do WHAT I want WHEN I want IF I want. It's all about MEEEEEE!!!!


I'm not totally selfish, my Dfamily and I will be going back late October.

Now watch, I'll get there and sit in my room the whole time crying because I miss everyone.....

DW was set against it. I think thats the best reason to have a Mini-Van with a Mobile Video System . Anyway, we wont be on the same flight because we're flying in on the 8th and heading up to my DW's parents house in Deltona for the night and than onto the WL on the 9th. What time is your flight? We went for the 10:45a.m. (2nd flight out to orlando that day).

but on 9/10. Our alternative plan was to fly into Boca on 9/9 to visit my coworkers, but that got trashed due to the extra 200 it would've cost (so I would have had to pay for the privelage of being at work for a day-not!). DH would have preferred the earliest flight, but with 3 DDs (only 2 going to WDW), we would've had to wake up at 4 am. I heard that Jetblue has a small snack area in JFK that's complimentary to their ticketholders. Is that true?

135 days to go!! Sept 19-24 @ BCV. Our son will only be 10 months old... I can't wait to see his reaction! We're going with another couple who's son is 2 months older. Of course, it will be a bit different from our days of waiting at the gate to MK and running to Space Mountain. It will take some time to adjust to taking midday siestas.

We tell everyone that we are "taking the kids to Disney World," but at this point, it's really for us!

We'll be there the end of Sept into Oct. Yippee! Our first stay on-site. We have ressies at POFQ....I plan to buy AP's and go again next year a little earlier in Sept for DD's 9th B-day and use the AP's again. Hoping for AP discounts so that we can upgrade to Poly.

Karen, We'll be there Sept 25-Oct 3rd, so we'll be there the same time!!! Going to MNSSHP on the night of Oct 1st.

I'm counting the days!

The concierge told me that they have more people than they expected this year. Although that isn't a absolute, it did make me a little nervous. I don't want huge crowds and long lines.

Delurking here...it's my first post. DH and I are doing the land/sea September 9-16th. We're spending the land portion at the Polynesian. It will be our first deluxe experience and I'm so excited! I love these boards so much, they help with the waiting! Hope you all have a wonderful September trip!

We are going down September 10-20. My husband is attending a Christian Counseling Workshop at WDW and we thought it would be a good time for us all to take the trip. I wondered if there would be alot of people going then because of this national meeting. Is anyone nervous about 9-11 in Orlando? I expect security to possibly be tighter. We have never gone in the Fall months. We are so looking forward to it! It will be getting cool in Montana by then and it will be nice to spend that time in still-warm weather. I have not gotten airline tickets yet. Hoping they will be going down in $$ anytime soon.....perhaps hoping against hope!

Offsite Sept 15 and 16th then at POP for the 17th to the 24th.

Can I ask a question here. Does anyone know if I got room rates only for the 15 and 16 on my own could I be put into the same room for my package the 17th to the 24th???? Cause we might do that instead of staying off site to enjoy the magic of Disney longer but getting to visit Busch Gardens.
