Whoo hoo I finally got dreamed!!

We are annual passholders and visit Disneyland anywhere from once a month to every three months and this weekend we FINALLY got dreamed! We had just exited Peter Pan and were all standing there trying to decide where to go next. DMIL started to head to the carousel with DS and when I looked over toward Pinnochio and saw people getting off the ride with Dream Fastpasses. I took off over toward Pinnochio all the while yelling back at all 7 other family members to follow me. They had no idea what was going on and probably thought I was crazy but when we exited the ride there they were handing them out. They even gave one to DS1! I was sooo excited I could barely contain myself! Each time we visit it has been my quest to get those and finally after a year we were successful! The sucky thing was that we didn't even get to use all of them. We had to leave the park at 3:00 to rest and get ready for MHT and left with quite a few tabs still attached. I did bring them back the next day and asked one of the dream team members if we could use them since they closed DCA early the day we won and weren't able to use them all and they said no.

Which is the correct official answer, but you can. If you still have them, try next time you visit.

We were dreamed fast passes a week ago when we were there. We got them on a Wednesday and kept using them every day through Sat. Wednesday and Thursday were lighter crowd days so if the wait was 10 minutes, we'd wait instead of using the passes. By the time we left we still hadn't used them all. We were never asked once what the date on our pass said. They just took the tabs and let us through.

Awesome! We are going back in December and I will try and use them then. I heard you could use them on other days but was too chicken to try it this time. Maybe next time I'll be brave enough to try.

Yes, you can definitely use them on other days. We got them on a Friday and then used a lot of tabs the next day.

I can confirm that you can use old Dream FP's. I was just there this past Saturday and used many expired ones. . . some from my November 2007 trip, as well as from my February 2008, April 2008 and June 2008 trips. (yep, I've been really lucky with Dream FP's) I even won another Dream FP on Saturday morning but I didn't use it at all, I just used all my old tabs from previous trips. Now I have a complete, unused Dream FP to keep forever!

I used them on Screamin, Soarin, ToT, BTMRR, Splash and Indy and not one CM questioned me.

I didn't know that you can use expired passes. I have a lot that people have given me. I haven't been dreamed myself though. Maybe I will try it. I will feel so stupid though if they deny me.

OOOH Great job! Apparently its super hard to get dreamed. Even the Disney industry has admitted that.

We were dreamed in Feb 08 and one day I was reading the boards with people mentioning that they used there old fastpasses. Yep, we took our Feb ones in September and got to use the remaining tabs, no questions asked.

I have been sooooooooooo many times and I have never been dreamed. It is really sad cuz my autistic son really wants to be. He had even been known to pray for it. Poor baby.

Oh, I'm thinkin' happy thoughts... Please PM me with your full name and mailing addy and I'll send your son a tinkerbell pin, that he can be 'dreamed' with prior to your next trip. We have an extra pin, and we would like to share it with him.

I was dreamed last week. I can confirm that you can use them any day. I have 6 DFP's. 3 partially used and 3 fully intact. Unfortunately I won't be back for at least a couple years

My advice to you then is to hang out around Pinocchio/Snow White and watch for people coming out with them between 8:15-8:30ish. Once you see someone come out with them, head straight there! That's how we got ours on Friday. Or else check the paths on each side of the castle around the same time, those seem to be hot spots too. Good luck!

These are the different locations I have won Dream FP's:

King Triton's Gardens (no longer exists as Fairies are taking over)
Bridge between Orange Stinger and Jumpin Jellyfish in DCA
By lockers on Main Street
Tunnel in the Castle
To the left of the Castle near Carnation Gardens covered tables
Exit of BTMRR

I think that's it. Sorry, no tips on how to score the Dream Suite. That's one area where I have no luck at all.

I scored mine in the pathway between PFF and the Canal Boats. I guess they tend to hide off the beaten path so as not to be mobbed by everyone!

We were dreamed 3 x's the week we were there last month. We were dreamed at:

the exit of pinoccio
the walk way between Fantasy Land and Frontier Land
the walk way along the storybook canal boats heading towards IASW.

That is exactly where we were dreamed! I tried to describe it in my post above. We were dreamed with the special event ticket there.

We were dreamed twice (fastpasses both times) during our early Oct. trip and *just* missed being dreamed a third time (dream team was closing their bag as we walked up!)

While Dh would take the "big" kids on rides, I would take the little one around in his stroller keeping my eyes and ears open the whole time. We would use back walkways, pathways, and out of the way areas to get from land to land. I also passed on our good luck by letting others in the area know where the Dream Team was. (they are easy to miss since they are in hard to find areas)

We also just missed getting ears in Toon Town. People were getting them as they exited Mickey's house, but we got there too late. That is the one Dh really wanted to win. He said he would wear the Mickey ears the whole trip if we won them (he is 6'6", 220 lbs--I would have loved to see that, lol)
