Whom do I call for room requests

I know I've seen this before but I can't find it. We are six days out and I need a first floor room at OKW. I have 2 artificial hips, 1 artificial knee, and will have the other replaced this summer. Whom do I call at the resort, OKW, to make sure I get my first floor room?

It depends on how your reservation was made.
If it was on points and you are a member, you would call Member Services and they will note it on your reservation or direct you where to call (since you are only 6 days out).

If it was a reservation thru CRO (Disney’s General Reservation Number), you would call there and they will either note it or tell you where to call.

Be aware though that the ‘resort phone numbers’ do not really connect you to the front desk. You are connected to a Call Center, which answers as if it was the resort. They should be able to help you though. Since about 1/2 of the rooms at OKW are on first floor, unless you are checking in very late, you should be able to get first floor, even without any specific request.

We usually stay at OKW. We also always seem to have someone with mobility issues with us. They have always accomadated us. We rent a scooter for FIL to get around. MIL likes to take walks around the resort and he loves going with her so the scooter was great. The CMs at OKW are fantastic. The first time he was nervous about using the scooter on the bus. One of the CMs there had one of the bus drivers help out. The CM and bus driver spent a good 30 to 45 minutes practicing with him getting on and Off the bus with a scooter. You will be fine.
