Next time you go, head to the frozen aisle and pick up a box of the strawberry frozen fruit bars by the 365 brand. They are DELICIOUS!! (And not too pricey.)

I love to go to whole foods when I come to New York to visit ds in colllege. It is sooooooo expensive to buy but I love the one in Columbus Circle and Union Square. I love walking in there seeing all the stuff we never see here in TX in our local krogers and hebs. I love to get sandwiches and a dessert to take back to the hotel. One time we got one of those per pound foods in the food stations. The selection was huge and our 2 pound food cost like $17.XX x 3 people. That was the last time we got that.

We have one here in Houston but it is so far from us near the Galleria. I think that is the only one we have and have never been there.

Whole Foods started in Austin, unless I'm mistaken. Huh. I wonder why they don't have more stores in Houston, it's definitely their demographic and if they started in Austin, they've got the distribution center for Houston.

LOL Are you in the Boston area. I used to shop at Bread and Circus all the time before it became Whole Foods.

OP, if you like American Cheese, try some of the Andrew and Everett American cheese sliced from the deli. It is to die for. We shop at Whole Foods and Trader Joes once a month or so(they are blocks from each other). We live an hour away, but there aren't options close by. Trader Joes is really great, but I have found that the prices aren't always cheaper. Especially, for fruit and veg. You start to figure out the patterns when you shop both all the time.

Nice if you have disposable income no kids, Trader Joe's is much better in price. Tho you may not have a TJ's by you.
