Whole Foods now offers delivery to "to much of Central Florida, including all the Disney Resorts, Universal Orlando Resorts and even Downtown Orlando."

This could be very helpful for those with allergies. One less thing to worry about with all the changes WDW is making to allergy choices.

We've had Whole Foods delivered to our resort for years. We use WeGoShop for delivery. I wonder which one delivers cheaper now?

From the link-

We now offer Delivery!

Whole Foods Market has partnered with Doorstep Delivery to offer delivery for groceries, flowers, gift baskets and party platters!

Delivery is available SEVEN DAYS A WEEK
Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 10:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10:30am – 10:00pm

Do you know, offhand, if they are also delivering to the Swan and Dolphin?

OMG!

This is awesome- where is there a Whole Foods down there?! We normally go to the Publix by Gaylord Palms, but their GF stuff is SO expensive. Not that Whole Paycheck will be any cheaper, but their selection will be better! AWESOME! :cool1:

The Whole Foods Market in the shopping center between I-4 and Turkey Lake road, just on the South side of Sand Lake Road.

To get there take I-4 in the direction of Orlando and get off at Exit 74, Sand Lake Road. Stay in the left lane and turn left, going under I-4. Ignore the traffic light for the other off-ramp (unless it is red, then stop). The next full intersection is Turkey Lake Road. Turn left here and then make the first available left into the shopping center. Note the Whole Foods Market faces Sand Lake Road.

If you are driving from the airport and want to stop there on the way to WDW, take the Beach Line (SR-528) to where it ends and head in the direction of Orlando. The first exit after you get on I-4 is Sand Lake Road.

Also, FYI, what we who live in Orlando call "tourist Walmart" on 535 has a much more extensive selection of GF foods than in the past. They don't deliver but if you have a car they are much less costly than Whole Foods. If I had food allergies I'd love having a delivery option, and heck, even without food allergies the delivery option is fantastic. TFS!

Has anyone used this before? We'd love to be able to order from Wholefoods on our last day at Disney since we have to drive over 13 hours to get home and plan to eat in the car.:) Is the process easy? Were you given a specific delivery window of time? My plan is to place on order and have it delivered on our last Disney day. There are several of us with multiple food allergies so Wholefoods is our favorite store. Thank you.:)

Rather than have delivery, especially if you are going up I-4 you are better off stopping there. This way you can see what they actually have, they are open 8:00am to 10:00pm seven days a week.

Also, if you are taking the Turnpike it is just a couple of exits North of Sand Lake Road off I-4.

Does anyone know the delivery cost? I have never been able to find much on their site.

It's between 30 and 50 bucks, plus tip....from their website:

$30 Delivery Fee + Driver Tip for Zip Codes: 32819, 32809, 32836, 34786, 32830, 32839, 32811

$50 Delivery Fee + Driver Tip for Zip Codes: 32821, 32837, 32801, 32803, 32804, 32806, 32812

I called WF about the delivery service. They do not have a "form" with all the foods listed- you have to send them a list of what you want. I was hoping they had something like a checklist. Maybe they will, eventually.

Disney World is all 32830 so delivery would be $30 plus tip.

Ack, thanks. I really only need a couple of things delivered. I am bringing most everything my son will need that Disney doesn't have. Just a couple things I am wrestling with.

We looked into this when we were just down there and a few things to take note of:

- the delivery fee to the Disney resorts is $30 plus a mandatory tip.
- you must contact the one person in the store who coordinate the deliveries via email at least 48 hours prior to your hoped for delivery time. Personally, knowing this, I would set it up a week before I left.
-you email a list of what you want delivered to the delivery coordinator and then they will email you back saying if that is all available or not, and then you will schedule the delivery from there.

I called when I was down there, hoping to have a few things delivered that we had brought but were starting to run low on, namely rice cakes and coconut milk. The whole "at least 48 hours til delivery" thing really killed it for us, and I wish I would have realized that before we left so I could have known to schedule a delivery before we even left. It doesn't seem like they have a list of available products to send to you, so you will have to know what you want and ask for things specifically. If you are like me and you are ordering things because you are dealing with multiple food allergies, you may need to do a scouting trip at your local Whole Foods and make sure you have all the exact brands written down to assure that you get the correct item. Overall, its a great service and I'm really excited that they are delivering now, but it does require a bit of planning ahead

For $30 plus tip, I'd think you could just take a taxi there & shop. That way you could get exactly what you wanted.

We considered that too, but I guess the advantage would be not wasting 2+ hours of your vacation. Assuming that you set it up ahead of time and everything works out well with the delivery times, it would just show up and you could put away the cold stuff and be on your way. I guess you're paying for the convenience of your time, and only you can decide what's worth more- picking your stuff out in person or having that chunk of time on vacation.

$30.00 delivery is alot:scared1: Wegoshop will do it for less, {Grocery receipt(s) total up to $50.00 = $18.00 shop & delivery service fee.} They will go to any store you want. We used them last August and they were GREAT, delivered on time and very nice.
