Well, it has happened several times and I think he has always been clear about it.

I agree with Disney Doll. I have read some really rude remarks you have made to Dan on the Tech board, WMKathy. I think you, as a webmaster, should be nicer to the posters around here.

Telling someone "they need a nap" is condescending, rude and probably crosses the sarcasm line. I would think you all in charge should set good examples for other posters.

I don't read the Tech Board...probably a good thing. But I do agree with everything you said, Brenda.

There are several people who do NOT want their tags changed. Anyone that has been around for any length of time knows that Dan wants his left alone. I think Dan ever wants his changed he will change it himself.

Delete them out and then PM the powers that be that are in charge of tags.

It was a bit of a bruhaha. The TF gave him a tag. Dan deleted it and made it known that he did not want a tag. The TF gave him another one, and another, and another on... Each new tag was deleted, but the TF just would not stop. It went on for awhile.

I have no idea why the TF would continue after being asked to stop.

Dan isn't the only one who could care less about tags. I deleted the ones I had a bit ago

This is going to come as a real shock to some of you there is no list of "people that don't want tags". I can pretty well assure you there isn't going to be one either. Anybody can remove a tag fairy tag they don't like simply by editing it. Since someone that used to be a moderator would be well aware of that I'm not really sure why we are making a mountain out of this molehill.

Honestly, I don't get the game playing. There's NO DOUBT the moderator/webmaster who did it KNEW Dan wanted it left alone, which is exactly why it was done. Very disheartening to see adults doing stuff like that. Such UNnecessary behavior, really. Why do that???

I've been on the DIS since at least '99 and remained tagless (fine with me...I just don't "get" the whole excitement over tags ) until the bannings. Then suddenly, there was a lovefest for the people still here, and tags were being handed out like candy...even to me ...can't remember exactly what it said. I kept it until I realized there were some unrelated games being played behind the scenes, and decided I didn't want the tag.
