I'm sure you can imagine how awesome this dream was! :woohoo:

I can remember standing in Fantasyland thinking, "2am.... plenty of time before the families with small kids start arriving around 8." Ha! This Disney Bug has really bit me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2: I know, I know.... I feel so stinkin' CRAZY!!!!!!!!!

What a DUMBO!
But you have me in STITCHes.

WDW is NOT open 24 hours, but the "drive-up window" is.

You can order a combo: COUNTRY BEAR-ger with a SPLASH of CARRIBEAN sauce, small THUNDER fries, and a meduim TEA PARTY drink.

I'd say order the TOON-TOWN Tuna, but its only FAIR.

(This thread may not be true, it could only be WISHES.)

;)

Well, not quite 24 hours, but you could be in Fantasyland at 2:00am if you come mid March. One of the closing times is listed as midnight on an EMH night, so MK will be open til 3:00am.

No way would we make it til then, but it would be fun to try!!!

Wow imagine that. just like Las Vega, a place that never sleeps you can go on forever. wow that would be great!!

That's my kind of dream and believe it or not, one person's reality. OK, let me explain. If you have watched Sunday night's Extreme Home Makeover then you will remember what I am about to say. A couple of months ago, they were working on a house for a family that had taken in and adopted a bunch of kids that had a pigment disorder. They couldn't stay out in the light. Every part of their body had to be covered up. So of course with that show being on ABC and being owned by Disney, they set it up where this family and a couple of the designers were able to go to the MK after closing. This family had the whole park to themselves. Disney did it right all the way. All the rides were still going. The kids were able to get their picture made with all of the characters. It was like every true Disney fan's dream. The whole park to yourself. Anything you want, whenever you want, however many times you want to do it. Yes, I have had the same dream. But where else besides Disney, would they open the park up for just one family and give them the Magic Carpet Ride treatment. :cloud9: :grouphug:

I like the drive-up window idea.... can you imagine THAT? "Uh, yes, I'd like a Dole Whip, one Tink watch and a FastPass for Space Mountain, please."

Bubba73... I don't watch EHM (I'm usually reading here on the DIS!), but I think that's terrific that Disney did that for them! That's got to be so awesome... no crowds, every ride open and no Florida sun!!!! Wow!

That is an amazing thing they did for those children. The magic must have been so perfect for them... Is there any link to that episode on the web?

In my case, if WDW would be open 24/7 I would not be able to go to sleep for the time I am there.... I wonder what would happen if I would get to do this on a 14 day trip....

Well, 21 hours sometimes. Such as around NYE when MK opens at 8am and closes at 1am, but has both an EMH morning and night. So, it's open to resort guests from 7am to 4am.

In April, there are several days that it is open for 20 hours (8-3).
