Who would your top 5 American Idol picks be?

I was watching American Idol tonight (it is tape delayed for us) and I was thinking who I thought should be in the top five. I based my choices on overall performances from the start until now and these are the five who I think continue to prove how good they really are. I placed them in alphabetical order because at this point I do not know what order I would rate them. So what do you all think, who is in your top five?

My top five choices are: Clay, Josh, Ricky, Ruben and Trenyce.

I think the top 3 should be Clay, Reuben and Trenyce. The others I don't care that much for.

Agreed!! I'd put my main man Clay first, followed by Reuben and Trenyce. These three are all pretty close in my mind. Then next in the distance would be Josh and Kimberly L. Ricky and Kimberly L may be tied for 5th. Can't wait to watch on Tuesday! Go Clay!!

I loved American Idol last season and kind of hate how they have turned everything about the show into a BIG thing...like the hour long elimination show...it's actually quite boring and i won't watch it because of that. Anyway...

I pick Clay, Josh, Ruben, Trenyce, and....let's see no one else sticks out immedatly. How about Ricky.

I do not like Julia or Kimberly Caldwell

I liked Charles, too bad he was kicked off and i like Corey too but looks like he's at the bottom now too.

I also like Ruben, Trenyce, Rickey and Kim L. I also liked Vanessa and Charles, but they're gone now It should have been Julia and Corey gone by now grrr.

I guess I'm the only one who likes Kimberly Caldwell. I'd like to see her win the whole thing. My picks, in order of preference: Kimberly C., Clay, Reuben, Treynce, Josh. All 5 are wonderful, and I'd be happy to see any of them win.

My top 3 are Rueben, Clay and Trenyce. Then Ricky and Josh. I am glad to see many others agree on the top 3. They perform well every week doing all different kinds of music.

Reuben, Clay, Joshua, Kimberley Locke, Corey (if he has a better night than last week). Seems the one who goes first shows the most nerves, a la Kimberley Locke 2 weeks ago. I missed Corey's entire performance last week, seeing only the replay at the end of the show and couldn't believe how shaky he was.

It looks like we all have a lot of the same folks in the top. I debated about Kimberly C. for a while, I do like her some of the times, but not as consistantly as the others. I do think that she will get some sort of deal out of this and judging by the type of person I get the impression that she is, I think she will be successful at whatever she does.

Josh... Trenyce(altho.. I like her voice.. I am hoping she will grow on me.. I don't know what it is but I can listen to her I just don't care to watch her>> odd huh?) and the rest can fight for 5th....

said it before and I will say it again.. LOTS of talent in this competition.. but I don't think Corey nor Julia will make it much longer.

Kimberly C.. will get some commercials.. I betcha' I also like her too snoopy...
Kimberly L... the girl is talented and I hope she lets loose soon.
Rickey.. I just want to hug that guy..he is lovable.

Top 5: Clay, Ruben, Trenyce, Ricky, Josh. The top three were easy, the last two took some thought.

My top 4 would be Clay, Trenyce, Josh, and Kimberly L. I'm not quite sure about number five, perhaps Reuben or Ricky, but I can't quite decide. I think Reuben seems like a really super nice guy, but his voice doesn't amaze me quite as much as it seems to amaze everyone else (he can sure sing about a million times better than me though, LOL!).
