Who would like to join me for a Jersey Tomato Sandwich

Fresh from my garden, I have grown my own Jersey Tomato's! Today for lunch I will have a Jersey tomato sandwich. Plain white american bread, mayo and Jersey tomato. Heck think I might have two of them.

but mine are Maryland tomatoes..fresh from our own garden..this one's a whopper..1 1/2 lbs!...mmm....warm from the sun...white bread slathered with mayonnaise..tomatoes...crushed sea salt and crushed black pepper...mmmmmmmmm.....willing to share..there's more than enough for one..lol!

I've lived all over and unless you've had a Jersey tomato, you just don't realize there really is a difference. Jersey tomatoes are the best EVER. I've been gone so long, I have myself half-way convinced other tomatoes taste great too. Now you've popped my bubble and I am remembering what a real tomato is. I feel a a tomato depression setting in.

I bought PA tomatoes and I'm still waiting for them to ripen up. They are sitting on my window sill catching some rays. I knew I messed up, should 've bought Jersey tomatoes.

You know, it's amazing. I'm from NJ and I don't like Tomatoes, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen or big hair.

I believe I was born and live in the wrong state....
