Who will renew their annual passport?????

I am not renewing my AP or my partner's AP. I don't like the new policy. It is another sign of Disney nickel and diming us to death. In the future I am going to buy park hoppers since they never expire. The only way I would buy more APs again is if there is a significant investment in new attractions at several WDW parks. Otherwise I will buy a 5 day hopper. SPend 2 days at WDW and the rest at Universal/Sea World. Then use the other 3 days for a future trip.

Sincerely,

Larry Poppins

We saved so much by buying PAPs last December, it really doesn't matter if we renew or not. We plan on being down there a couple more times this year, so it's a coin toss whether we'll renew or not.

I read only the first page of replies and can see how disappointed most of you are. I live in Florida so renewing is not big deal for me but I think this new policy reeks!! I also picked up a new 2001 sleeve for my AP and I cannot believe how much less we are getting. They raised the price and are giving usless!! I hope this whole new scheme of theirs backfires. I enjoy disney but the prices for everything, IMHO, is nothing less than legalized stealing. I also go to Busch Gardens on a Florida res. pass and it is a far better value. (2 years for $99.)The food there is less expensive too and they have refillable popcorn buckets and refillable sport bottles. I suggested refillable popcorn buckets to Disney a while back and they said that they cannot act upon suggestions from guests for some reason or other. I bring my own water into the park and limit myself to one meal while at the park. The rest is done off property just before I enter the park and at the end just before I leave for home or my hotel.

Just bought my husband's in Dec and renewed my daughter in Jan, Will renew mine and my second daughter in April since we'll be going the end of April and again in May plus maybe a day or so in April when I go up for an interpreters convention.

We will not be renewing after our June trip. We will wait and buy a new AP when we return in the fall.

Our annual passes expire in May and after our April trip, we will not return until August. Since we would be "on the clock" from May to August if we renew, I will not be renewing our passes but instead will buy new ones in August. At least we have gotten three trips from these passes already.

I too Will Not renew our AP's..We will buy them at one of the parks..I had always re-newed for years until the change of policy.

With all the hassle we experienced with our renewals and the new policy, we will not renew. This new policy will probably make us think of going yr to yr and visit every other yr (visit VB, HH or just stay at the resort and not the park.

We have had annuals for 5 years now, but because of this new policy we feel like we are really being squeezed more than ever. As we are out of the U.S.A we don't receive any info. from W.D.W mailed to us , so I have to rely on these boards to find out anything at all! This year because they have also done away with the 30 day renewal period our August visit is outside the expiry date by 7 days and so we cannot even get the renewal rate upon our arrival. If we phone and renew we have to allow at least 21days for mailing the pass so we would have to renew about a month before expiry! There is also an additional $9 mailing charge.I e-mailed Disney to complain, but they obviously weren't the least bit interested. I guess if we don't renew there are always thousands more to take our place! My husband phoned to try and obtain an A.P. discount on the All Stars hotel and we were even denied that! Over the years we have spent ,like many others ,thousands and thousands of dollars with the company, but I suppose that counts for nothing. Will probably renew this time ,but not so sure after that.
