I just can't believe how many things I am putting off today. On a normal day (for me, that is) I generally put off a few, but today is the worst yet!
I have paperwork a mile high. I do checks for 3 people and there is a slew of them. Then I have to fill out all kinds of forms for my dad, he's in a nursing home and I have applied for Medicaid since I was risking my retirement funds by paying for his care. I can't believe what they require. One of which is an in-person interview with me. Uhh, no can do. I live 200 miles away, have a job, and a son on oxygen. We only travel in cases of emergency. I plan on going there for the funeral, but not before.
So I sit here putting off the inevitable. Anyone care to join me?

same with me. Housework is calling my name but I just REALLY don't want to. I need a 12 step program.

Procrastionators of the world unite.....tomorrow. ;)

I just finished a part of my board exam that I have been putting off since June. I hope this will be encouragement to you that actually, when you do some of the really unpleasant tasks, you feel so much better afterwards. I get an energy surge when I do it.

Count me in. I'm supposed to be doing a lot of cleaning/cooking today. I've done some stuff, but I really have a lot to do. I'm just not motivated to clean the bathroom, I wonder why...

:goodvibes
I'd like to join your group, but I'll have to get to it later....

I hear ya! I could teach a class on it! Seriously though, regarding the medicaid paperwork, do yourself a favor and hire an eldercare attorney. Let him or her do the work. It will save your sanity. Believe me, I went through it myself and they know how to make sure you are protected.

I have found a club that actually could have me as a member!! If anyone bothered to attend meetings. :rotfl: My clean clothes pile is enormous and I just don't want to put it away. I need to clean/rearrange my bedroom. I did clean and vacuum the living room. Out of 7 and a half rooms. (one I can't clean it's not mine) One is presentable. Two are hidden so that's good. Basically if you came to my house right now I'd have a lovely time talking to you on the porch. I'd bring cookies though so it wouldn't be too terrible.
