Met bornteach (Kristin) at an Illuminations cruise she was sharing. On the cruise she introduced me to safetymom (Kathy W), shellyminnie (Shelly), and later jacksmom99 (another Kim - sweet!) along with a host of other DISers.

She's also become the most unexpected great new friend. Will always love the DIS for that.

The first and only DISer I've met is Joseph Carter, except that he hasn't been on the boards in quite a while, so I've forgotton his actual boards name. He spotted me at the Pirate Dinner Show on I-Drive back in 2008, and we met again at MNSSHP later in the holiday.

I would like to meet a lot more of you guys, but can't quite afford to come on PPC 2.0, or even Pete's mediterranean cruise, without having to starve for a year. I'd love to do a UK meet, or even a Disneyland Paris meet, since I'm desparate to have a trip to a Disney, but don't want to be there by myself.

I met the podcast team and a few DIS'r at the very first podcast party at the
S & D.

I then became online friends with the Sparkly Eared Ladies, Paul, Alicia, George, Don, ADP, Todd, Jaime and many more and then I was able to meet them in person at DAP last December. Nothing like 4 days in WDW together to cement those friendships..

Bob was the first DISer I met. My son and I were in Epcot in March 2006 for the Garden Festival and Bob was on kaht kam. I called out his name and he stopped and talked to us. He was so nice; asked us all sorts of questions about the podcast, the festival, etc and gave us DIS pins. We were so happy that we met him.

I think the first DISer I met was AskTracy, which was weird because we didn't know she'd be there and we had emailed her just the day before the meet about signing up for 1.0!
It was a bit surreal.

I have been here since the beginning and I've only met two - one in 1998 when I met Jackie from Novia Scotia. The second one, I already knew and we started talking and I found out she is a DISer, Littlemissmagic.

In the beginning I did get to talk to Pete on the phone a few times, not sure that really counts though!

The first DISer I ever met was Judy from Boise & her family. I remember being so nervous - we had a blast. That was back in 2000. Right after that, I met Tink33 (Lesley) at Disneyland on Disneyland's birthday. We've been friends ever since - just spent Wednesday night with her at the D23 anniversary party, and had a great time.

I've met several over the years and become friends with several of them. Lôôking forward to meeting more!

The first DISer I met was Wigdoutdisneymom and her DH Wushocker and DS. Then there was the 2008 TSMM meet where I met Mindy and Rick and Lori and few others. In April 2009 I met YellowMickeyPonchos (Nancy) and her family in DL and Tiggerbelle (Jaimie) . From there I've met so many wonderful friends

Are the ones that I can certainly remember. I am sure I met others (as the room was full) but I didn't get to say more than hello to anyone else.

YAY! I remember this day vividly, although not my first DIS meet. Jason mistook you for a girl (because of your screenname and the female villains in your signature) about a week before the meet...and then I remember you saying something about how it was hard to type. So when I saw your hand bandaged up I immediately knew it was you!! I am glad to know I was one of the Famous' firsts! Exactly how many DISers have you taken a picture with?

I started posting back in '08, read Jaime's trip reports and stalked her. Jason and I went to our first DIS meet in Mayish of 08 and met Nooshkin (Janet) and saw a Celebrity (Jaime)..that was weird to see Meg, Rhonda and Jaime. I knew all about their trips to Disney...but I had never met them before. We had just put in our quote for PCC 1.0 and met Tracy at lunch at Gino's, so we sat with her and Bill and Geef and his wife. I was sooo shy then (I still can be shy) but have met so many great people thanks to the DIS! It is really awesome how many friends I have made!! Pete did a marvelous thing!

Our 1st meet...how far we have come!

Cannot wait for PCC 2.0 to meet a bunch of other DISers, oh yeah and Indy, and Taste of Chicago meet, and the Brookfield Zoo meet in 2 weeks, and maybe Hershey, and the 4th D2D meet on April 18th!
