Who watched The Bachelor last night?

Very interesting. I think he will eventually end up with Gwen. I hope so anyway. I still don't trust Helene, and from what little they've shown of Angela, they don't seem that compatible. Brooke is ok, but she is a little young.

I'm just glad Heather is gone, she was starting to go off the deep end. I got the feeling that she just wanted to be married, it didn't matter to whom. I was actually cringing when she and Aaron were in the hot tub and she was throwing herself at him and saying how much she felt for him, and you hear him saying that he isn't attracted to her. How embarassing!

Next week he meets all the parents. That should be intresting!!

I couldn't believe how much Heather was humiliating herself... I actually lost respect for her during this show. She has some deep seated insecurities that became VERY obvious during this date. It amazes me how women who can be that deeply hurt would participate in a public embarrassment such as this. There could NOT be that much money involved!!

I do think he's got it bad for Gwen, though. She is the most aloof and I think that's what attracts him. I think he likes Helene, who seems to be the most confident, but she wears him out. And was that a clue or WHAT when he told her he didn't want to "lead her on???"

Brooke is adorable but WAY too insecure and immature. I think the producers are having a field day with her father's prison story, though....

I know, it's a TRAIN WRECK!!

It was rather difficult watching Heather and Aaron in the hot tub, he looked SOOO uncomfortable, I was embarrassed for her, especially knowing she was home watching that.

Angela- Don't really think anything about her either way.

Gwen - I really like her. She was the perfect choice for the Cinderella date. I think she'll evenutally be the one he chooses.

Brooke - I like her too, but her age is a huge disadvantage.

Helene - Moody!!! I like her in the beginning, but now she's starting to turn into a Shannon from last season.

My money is on Gwen. He's like her from the first night too.

I too was terribly embarrased for Heather.....Aaron looked so uncomfortable and like others said, watching from home and hearing him say how he wasn't attracted to her...all the while she is throwing herself at him......very sad.

I like both Gwen and Brooke, but I think in the end, it will be Gwen that Aaron chooses. Brooke at first was very secure with herself, but I think she is letting the competition get to her, while Gwen has always been nice and really makes the most out of her time with Aaron without degrading herself in anyway.

Helene aggrevates me, LOL

I really liked Heather in the beginning but after last night, she may never get another date. I can't believe how these girls cry on air over this guy. They need to pull themselves together and say its his loss. Don't you think it would be hard to fall in love a guy who is dating 5 other women in front of you? I think I would have been like Hayley. I think it will come down to Helene and Gwen. Helene seems like she would be a lot of fun but a lot of work. Gwen seems mature and hasn't tried to sell herself. I am really hooked on this show

Did anyone like Alex more than Aaron?

My husband always teases me for watching this show but always seems to BE WATCHING WITH ME when it's on so it's pretty clear I'm not the only one who finds it fascinating! Anyway, last night he was literally talking to the television when Heather and Aaron were in the hot tub. He kept saying "Hello...he's not even looking at you! You're talking and he's looking in the water. Get a clue!" <lol> It really was sad...and then for them to add his comments about not being attracted to her when they edited the scene ~ OUCH!

I think Gwen or Helene will end up with the rock in the end (if he actually proposes). Mike, my husband, thinks it will be Gwen or Brook. I know Brook is young, but in actuality she's only six years younger and that really isn't much. And since when do most men NOT like having a younger woman???

I have to admit, Aaron is doing a pretty good job not leading them all on. When Alex was the Bachelor he led EVERY ONE of them on, and it caused a lot of hard feelings in the end.

Did anyone else notice Aaron's body language in the limo when he was with Heather? He kept looking everywhere but at her. You could tell he wasn't attracted to her. He looked like he couldn't wait to get out of there.

I also think he is doing a pretty good job figuring out their real personalities. On more than one occasion he's made a comment that indicates he knows a lot of what is going on behind the scenes.

Does anyone know if Aaron sees the women other than the scheduled dates and the rose ceremony? The host said last night they had all been there 5 weeks already, but what do they do the rest of the time? I remember reading that several of the women had left their jobs because they were told they needed to be away 6 weeks. Can you imagine quitting your job then being sent home the first night???

Jeafl, I guess being on TV and possibly snaring a husband is worth losing you job. You mean there aren't company policies for a leave of absence for husband hunting? LOL

Did you all know they will be airing "The Bachelorette" soon? Remember Tristen from the first Bachelor? She is the Bachelorette.

I thought Heather going on and on about Brooke's age was verging on crazy. She is several years older than the bachelor, isn't she? If she can date a younger man, how can she have such a probably with the idea of him dating a younger woman? I don't see Brooke's age as an issue.

I think Angela isn't really in the running. I think he thinks she's nice but is focused on the other three. I still think it will be Gwen in the end, but he honestly likes the other two also. I'm sure meeting the families will make a big impression on him one way or the other.

I'm beginning to think the winner will be Angela. We haven't seen much of her until last night, and then all of a sudden Aaron is talking about how he is impressed by her. I think the editors are doing this on purpose so that the winner will be more of a surprise.

Amanda came out of nowhere last season too, didn't she? She wasn't a big part of the show until the last couple of weeks.
