My first real, head over heels crush was in 3rd grade. His name was Mike and he had been *gasp* held back from 4th grade.

My first "bad boy" crush!

My first crush was a boy named Chip Eslin (are you out there Chip???). He was the much older lifeguard at our pool. I was 10, he was 17, and the cutest thing ever. He had the blonde surfer boy look going. He went off to college and broke my heart.

Shortly thereafter I met DH and he was my second crush. A little closer in age than me and Chip; but still took a long while for DH to realize he also had a crush on me.

Billy Stack. He was born 6 days before me and I was going to grow up and have his babies. I moved away at 10 still loving him & him running scared from me (man, that boy could climb!!). Later, when I was out of HS, we "remet" and he did ask me to marry him. But we didn't, so someone had his babies!

DD's (10yo) first crush is just coming to an end. A 20 year old college guy who isn't returning this year. She's hoping he'll visit sometime.

A boy named Andy in preschool...the crush lasted until the middle of sixth grade. He even bought me one of those ID bracelets that was oh-so-in back then.
The best part about him was his last name...Wright. He was my very own Mr Wright! Who can beat that?

Celebrity crush...I don't even remember, I was a fickle kid. I had a new celebrity crush every week.

My first crush was a brunette green eyed girl, named Theressa Moore.

Biggest one was Jessica Hill...which to this day I still think is one of the most beauitful woman I've ever met!!

Celebrity crush...a while back there was a Disneyworld special with Woody Harrelson in part of it. And, he goes back to when he was a little kid riding the haunted mansion...and this cute girl ghost goes through the ride with him. I totally had a crush on this cute girl ghost!!

I honestly don't recall...probably some boy in my kindergarten class...

In high school, I was totally obsessed with a boy named Dave who was in my Literature class and never spoke to anyone. I finally asked him out in senior year and he said NEVER. And then he was really mean and I thought he was a big dweeb.

Funny how girls would have probably offered to buy the boy flowers, or some sort of jewelry, but the boys think TV Sets

I'm laughing because I can just picture my BF when he was at age 4 or 5 telling some little girl he loved her and would prove it by buying her a tv!

It was the first grade. We lived on the Navy base here in Jacksonville. Back then the school bus had to drop us at the front gate and we walked home. Marines were stationed at the gate to check id's and wave the cars onto the base. There was the cutest Marine that was always at the gate. I remember one time we went inside to get a drink of water, and he picked up some of us girls (we were to short to reach the spout on the fountain) so we could get a drink of water. I might even recognize him if I saw him today.

When I was little, I had a tendency to wear my crush on a t-shirt. First, there was Sean Cassidy, then Davey Jones, but the biggest crush of all was John Travolta. I had a t-shirt with every one of them on it. Sadly enough, I was only in kindergarten. I got started early. My first crush on a real person was a boy in my 2nd grade class. I loved him because his feet were the ones in the old Milky Way commercials (we're talking late 70's) and he had a small role in the movie Arthur.

Actually I had two......one was the singer from Paul Revere and the Raiders (Mark Lindsay) And my Barbie was married to him And then there was a boy that came to visit his grandmother every summer who lived next door to us in Door County Wis. He was one of five boys.......Doug Sanders, and this crush went on for several years then one summer he came up and we were both of legal age and we went out, Let's just say he was worth the wait I was crushed when I found out several years ago he got married and not to me! That was about 25 years ago and you know I still think about him every once in awhile............so Doug if you are out there I am in Florida!!!

This thread is making me think about the girls that my son is hanging out with and wondering if they will turn into crushes too - he's in pre-school!

My first crush was with this boy Michael - it was in Kindergarten and first grade and may have lasted until 4th grade. Yeah, now that I think about it, I think it did - then I changed schools and it became a boy named Tate, but by this time, I was ready to hold hands and got the chace to with Tate (but the scandal was that I was best friends with his twin sister).

Michael was later rumored to be in a Rock Band and had long hair and became a teen parent - I guess things went OK for me that I changed schools, huh?

Oh, I've got to tell you all my first celebrity crush because its going to crack you all up:

I wanted to marry Mr. Rogers!

OK, so here's the funny part, my husband was always called Mr. Rogers as a nickname by his parents because he would have to run and get his Mr. Rogers sweater every time the show came on TV and then sit in front of the TV and watch it. I guess I got my dream to marry my own Mr. Rogers.

I love this thread! My first crush was in the 70's. I was living in the Philippines. His name was Rob. Back then the "thing" to do when you were an item was to switch combs - you remember those big handled combs you stuck in your back pocket? He also gave me his All-Star baseball cap (ooh, an athelete!). Well, I'll be darned if the stinker didn't also give me head lice! Ah.....those were some days.

Darwin Campbell, a boy I went to grade school with. In kindergarten he'd hit me and chase me up the tall slide at the park. He quit when my older sister told him that if he touched me again she'd kill him. By 4th grade we were friends and I had the biggest crush on him. I think I liked him because he was the class clown.

My first really big celebrity crush was Jonathan Brandis. I watched Ladybugs all the time.

First crush on a person was actually one of the priests in my parish...Father Rodgers. He was so nice and wasn't patronizing to the kids.

I was my DH's crush for 9 years before we hooked up!

His hair was buzzed and he had a rats tail (one small braid at the nape of his neck for those of you who don't know what that is) I was just crazy about him, I got so excited the day I asked if I could borrow his markers and he said yes!,hahaha I also remember teasing him at recess with the help of my sister and a friend because I liked him, got in trouble for that and he was not pleased To be in third grade again.
