Well I do and guess what lets make it even more fun.

At the event we will give away a pin and y'all (its a southern thing) will get to decide which pin we give away.

The legions will speak y'all will decide which pin will be given away.

Rules are simple you have to register to win we will pick a name at random from the list of registered people, you don't have to be there to win, so as long you register you can win. This way everybody gets a chance.

Now first you have to vote on which pin will given away.

Then after a choice has made by you the people, Arizona Jeff, Mean Laureen will give away that pin at the Great Pin Adventure event.

BUT YOU MUST REGISTER TO WIN!!!!!……

How to register??? Its easy go here.

http://www.nowhitting.com/disney2002/home.html

Now go vote then go register, or go register then go vote.

Hey did I mention you have to register to win.

Pssssst hey Jeff and Lauri you guys do have these pins right, cause if you don't the mob will get ugly, have you seen what they can do to a supertrader when the mystery pins sell out… hoo boy not pretty. Oh well you guys have plenty of time to get them… go check ebay.

The sound you just heard is Jeff passing out, and Mean Laureen spewing food at Matthew.

Disclaimer:

Leave me out of this I want to live. You have to register to win. GO Register!!!!!

Umm....I speak ya'll so that mean I can vote? ;)

I choose Captain EO. Dont ask why...:p

P.S.
Dont forget to register people!

I just hope that isn't one of my pins up there:teeth: I can be an " y'all" person too....I'm from Southern Ontario

Well y'all, I'm from Southern Connecticut, so even though we all don't usually say y'all, I think I qualify to take part in y'all's poll....

BTW, I voted for the old Mickey pin....

Y'all are right funny. The accents!!!:teeth:
This native Texan will help y'all out. First get a BIG bowl of chili with the hottest peppers ya can find thrown in. Eat it. Second get a BIG plate of barbecue beef and eat it. For those whose tickers have stopped tickin, move em over yonder. The survivors can now enjoy a BIG bowl of homemade peach cobbler with vanilla icecream. By now, your bellies will be so full, you can't help but draw words out like a true southerner.;)
Hehe, just funnin'.

My family will be attending WDW for the first time in Jan '03 to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. (Disneyland - Honeymoon)
We have been buying our two sons about 10 pins each to trade with when we go. Anyone have some helpful hints of the best place to go while at the parks to get them started?

My local Southern Gentleman says Amber is the only one who got it right - ya'll :)!

Webster's Dictionary has it as: y'all
"A Dictionary of the Texas Language" by Ken Rigsbee has it as: yawl
Yawl would seem the better fit for pronunciation reasons.

Question from a newbie: How many pins out there have a so called southern theme? Also, when at the parks, do the state pins trade well? (ie. Mickey holding the state of Texas)

Why thanx JudithM's Southern Gentlemen. :)

Well, this Southerner has always seen it as and spelled it as y'all, but it's one of those words that could go either way and mean the same thing. (of course, if you spell my name with one T, then we gotta talk :teeth: )

::making note ... do not sit between Lauri and Amber at dinner with Ed present without wearing a rain poncho::

Focus people focus

Vote on the pin, go and register. Don't worry about if its y'all or yawl. But in my lifetime it's been y'all a yawl is some kind of boat.

Its like those one word sentence we use here like diyaeatyet... which when translated means...

Why my good friend did you perchance eat as of yet, or would like to out with me and partake in some enjoyment of food consumption. :p

y'all just too much.

so wellllll doggie keepin it real in the feel y'all... see ya peace out dog... pinboy in the house awwww junk, wordup this thread is the bomb, so dont be ghetto, yo yo yo.

. o O (man, all this like talk, might get used to it...must stop the valley girl accent) :p

I said Figment just because he's coming back. :)

FYI: I've pretty much always lived in GA (I was born in SC), and spelled it y'all.. it's a contraction of the words "you all", and when forming it, you place the apostrophe between the end of the first word and the beginning of the second.. thus y'all. :)

(Ack, having a grandmother and a mother who taught english can be hazardous to your southern accent..)

Ashley

FYI...I realize its a contraction of the 2 words you & all & how a contraction works...but I always have & always will spell it ya'll. :)

. o O (mabye I should have voted for Figment, after all...this is his event!)
