The crazy purple machine was only $20 at walmart!
I thought about buying tulle by the yard but I'm not sure how I would wrap it around because I did the trial with a small roll. I'll have to look into though, anyway to save money is helpful!
There is something else you can do with tulle if you decide you don't want to just wrap it. Take the box that you are using as the base for your centerpiece. Put small holes in the box. Cut pieces of tulle in squares about 6 by 6. Grab the center of the piece and push it into the box. The tulle will fill in nicely around the box and look very full. You can even try small pieces if you don't want it to be quite as full. I would put the holes about every couple of inches up, down and around the box. If you have problem pushing the tulle in, use something like a knitting needle or crochet hook. There are lots of things you can do with tulle.
