Who wants to help me plan? First timer!

Me, my sister and my sisters friend got a really good deal with their uni for us all to go which happens to be on our birthday. We depart on a coach at 1am on our birthday (we are twins haha)on the 23rd of November. They haven't said but im guessing that's through the euro channel tunnel thing, which means we should arrive to the dip about 8-9ish, and the spark opens 10 that day. We're gonna be tired as hell but I don't care . I don't know exactly how much money we will all have but our budget won't be great at all. We're staying in a hotel with free breakfast (again they haven't said but I'm guessing it's Santa fe cause it's the cheapest) and we are coming back late Sunday evening they said. Space mountain is closed waaaah but we'll still have an amazing time I'm sure! Any mus do-s that anybody recommends or best cheap dining places for lunch and dinner? How long before shows and parades should we get there before they start to get a good spot and also the best viewing spots? Just please give me your everything on what's best to d and not to do etc I thnk we want to go straight to Disneyland park and it shuts at 7 and does anybody know if dreams will be on that day? I'm gonna stop typing now haha I'm on an iPad and i can't be able to read it back so I'm sorry if there's hahh bad auto corrections in here hahah! Thanks!

Where are you going from? Am I right in remembering it was Southampton uni? I went from Bournemouth many years ago, we let about midnight and took an overnight ferry from Southampton to somewhere in France, it docked around 6am and then our coach went on to DLP. We had a full day in the park (singular back then) then back on the coach before another overnight ferry, getting back to Southampton early morning.

It was hard going but good for a bargain trip!

Earl of Sandwich in the village is really good for a cheap but nice lunch. You'd think it wouldn't fill you up just being a sandwich but it's great and you can always get crisps and/or fruit there too. You could try Toad Hall for dinner (I've not been but apparently they do really nice fish and chips and I've heard that the double portion is big so may do for all of you) or you could go to Hakuna Matata in Adventureland; we shared two portions of chicken strips and hakuna fries between three and it was plenty. Also, take snacks (crisps, dried fruit, cereal bars, flapjack..) if you have room. Then you might not need lunch if you really need to save on money

In terms of what to do, I would say make a list of everything you really really want to do and just go for it and try and do it all. I would just think about what I would go home thinking "I wish I had done that.." and do it! Use fastpasses for rides like Big Thunder, Peter Pan, Buzz etc if you want to go on them- it's really not worth queueing for rides if you can FP them especially if you aren't there for long! In my opinion, Small World and Big Thunder Mountain are must dos, but that's just me of course...

As far as I'm aware Dreams should be on! Unless the weather is terrible. You definitely (in my opinion) need to get there an hour early if you want quite a wide range of where to sit/stand. The same applies for parades really if you want to be on the front row. If you don't mind so much then about half an hour I would think. In terms of viewing spots for parades anywhere on the route is pretty good. I'm not the best person to ask about Dreams though because we stuck to the same spot.
