I still think the Hulk is better, but you can view photos Cedar Point's Millenium Force HERE.

Enjoy! :bounce:

Millenium Force was ...ehh...Ok at best. After you get over the speed and the sheer height then there is not much to it. I had a better time on Raptor which is similar to Dragons with only one train. Which takes me to another point. Are all suspended coaster exactly the same? I've been on 4 and they all are pretty much the same layout. Except for Dragons of course. Other than that Ceadar point seemed a bit dated to me. They did have the stand up coaster as well but all those really do for me is leave me with an "adjustment" to make as soon as I get off. After going to SixFlags ,Cedar Point, and Carowinds they all seem like the same park. Man I love Univeral and Disney ... I need theming .

One thing that all parks need is inside or completly covered waiting areas. I'm so glad that alot of US and IOA's waiting lines are inside.

They're actually called Inverteds.
Suspended coasters are the kind that have cars under the track that you sit in that can swing back and forth, like The Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, or Iron Dragon at CP.
And to answer your question, Yes, most inverteds have the same layout. In fact, at Six Flags parks, they are clones with the name of Batman. While Six Flags may have saved money cloning the ride, they lose because it's nothing to get excited about. Batman is not tall, only about 100 feet, and the ride is short, only lasting 50 seconds. After you ride Montu, Batman is a kiddie ride.
This is such a letdown because the full potential of the inverteds has never been reached, and now B&M is building speed coasters. The parks seem to be ordering the speed or floorless version of the ride, and the inverted is being left behind, but it's my favorite.
I wish a park would build a 200 foot hyper inverted with 4 big hills, and then have it end like they normally do. The negative G hill on Deuling Dragons Fire when it passes over Ice is so awesome, you get airtime here. This is why they should build a super inverted with 4 big hills and then do all the other stuff.

I was also at the point last week, plus managed to squeeze in some time at SF WOA and Darien Lakes. We got to ride a few coasters that week.

The family got a big buzz out of riding MF. Just from the sheer height and speed. We wished we had gotten a chance to do it at night. We really enjoyed it. The lift hill was a nice change of pace.

We are also inverted fans, so 3 trips on the Raptor were in order. DD, Alpengeist, Montu are better, but Raptor was still good.

I was glad to ride Mantis, our first stand-up, just for the new experience, but also not my favorite. Too much time thinking about stress on the legs...takes away from the ride.

Magnun was a bit of a dissapointment for some reason? Iron Dragon busted a chain and was down for the day. I know Disaster T. gets a lot of bad press, so maybe my low expectations made it seem better than it really is, but we found if enjoyable.

On to SFWOA:

The second best ride of the week was X-flight. The first time they flip you over on your stomach you really think you are going to plummet to the ground. Very unique ride sensation. Hope they build a few more of these babies further east and experiment with a little more height. Flying low to the ground is cool, but the flying drops are even better.

Night Flight is a good floorless, very close to Medusa at SFNJ. However, it did seem to be a little rougher towards the end.

Supermand UE was very fun. Nice to have these change of pace rides. It could go a little higher on each end for a little more kick. If you are in the rear cars you hardly get any twist.

I hope the SF side of WOA copies some of the things BG did well (food!!!) rather than the other way around. However, what a great deal (good rides, water park, and marine activities) for the $$.

On to SFDL:

Superman ROS was very nice. It is essentially a 210 ft version of MF. Same style Intamin cars.

This park sure needs some work. Only one of the 3 water rides was open, and you have to walk every which way to get from the slides, to the lagoon, to the wave pool. I'm glad we got in free with our AP.

Interesting that even though they are not transferable everyone always let us park for free when we showed them our SFNJ parking pass.

The Bad:

I also continue to be amazed by the lack of sun screening on so many rides. Gee, how much does it cost to put netting up over the queue areas so people don't bake in the sun. Seems pretty basic.

Also didn't have the common sense not to ride Serial Thriller (SFWOA) and Mind Eraser (SFDL). I can't understand why they don't retrofit these rides so they can be something more than just head bangers???

Also, would SF please stop trying to do stunt shows. Lethal Weapon at SFNJ is barely watchable and the Batman shows don't get much better.

One thing I did notice the CP was the lack of handicap accessibility. Some of the queues had stairs you had to climb. Even some of the exits had stairs. I was trying to figure out how you would get a wheelchair to the loading bay. I did not see elevators. MF was handicapped accessible, though.

My brother is handicapped. I am going to the point on the 20th. Can't wait. Kinda bummed that the park is really not accesible. Hope to post pictures then!
