who to follow when all park hours are different

So I usually do my planning off EasyWDW or Kennythepirate. Right now their park hours for April are different than each others, and WDW's official hours are different than both as well. I'm used to not following Disney's official stuff because I've always read they don't update as much as unofficial people. So who do I trust??

That's the one that Josh (easyWDW) uses, and it is official - Disney just seems to be better about updating that one then the one on their own site. Here's the link:

The May version for this link (replace "april" with "may" in the link) gives me the same hours as currently posted on the official Disney World site. These have changed since I originally started my planning for our visit in late May. The hours on easyWDW do not match and appear to need updating. Many of the park closing times are now later.

ETA: I checked the first couple of days of June. The Disney site has updated park hours since I originally checked while the media link: http://media.disneywebcontent.com/StaticFiles/ParkHours/WDWTravelAgent_june.pdf has not changed since I originally started planning a month or two ago. I guess the Disney site is most accurate at the moment.

It is common for the TA site to not display correctly. I guess it uses a cookie that won't directly update with later visits. You may need to clear cookies to get it to display the latest version

I just checked for our June trip and AK hours have been extended to 8, as opposed to 5 (which it said a few days ago). That's on Disney's site. My TA checked the TA hours and they still say 5pm. So yeh, seems Disney's site might be the first to update for that change anyway.

Has April's been updated since 1/15? Thanks.

Just knowing how the posting of hours works, I can tell you that April hours should change within 15-30 days of the actual dates.

Maybe this is why I'm confused. I thought I read somewhere that April hours extensions had finally been posted.

I think it may happen multiple times. Disney planners should be pretty good at predicting crowd levels well in advance but I guess they make additional and final adjustments after more data comes in closer to the actual dates.

I also think that there is some budget cutting going on. They already cut some hours at Epcot, and rumor has it that more is to come but who knows exactly where and when. In my previous companies, that stuff always comes in at the last minute and takes forever, because no one really wants to have to do it. I think Disney is trying to cut hours and staff. If so, they may wait until the last possible moment to increase hours due to the cost. Plus, April may be a different fiscal quarter for them, so they may be waiting to see how the first quarter revenue is before committing extras dollars for April.

Sorry, I can see on disneys site some hours have changed, but the TA site hasn't been updated since 1/15 when I look at it. I was wondering if I was having a cookie problem and others could see a newer date on the T A calendar.
