Who steals potholders???!!!!

always look for the potholders before you began to cook - I yet to find one already in the room.

I really think that housekeeping is taken them and not replacing them.

I just can't believe that there are that many people who can burn these things....

I though it was cute - when we stayed in a studio once - and I was using the mircowave often - when we got a trash and towel - the housekeeper left some pot holders - maybe they only leave them when they know you are cooking????

they aren't surpose to be in the studio - so when they weren't there I didn't even ask for them.Now I just might!

OKAY, OKAY!!! I CONFESS!!! We are financing our children's educations by selling DVC potholders on E-Bay. We used to sell placemats, but the supplier went out of business...

The only thing we have cooked in the room is Raisn bread toast and microwave popcorn dont think you would nead a pot holder for that

They make great chew toys for the dogs that are snuck into the villas! Seriously, we had some dark green ones in our 2 bed. in December. I did use them to remove my pillsbury cookies from the oven.

My Dad has several ski condos he rents, and the maids never take the pot holders with the rest of the laundry. As a result they are always gross. Just 3 weeks ago. I called his house keepers to get new ones, and yelled at my Dad about how gross they were. You could just be hitting it after someone has used them and added them to the sheets etc... I know I have always had them at BWV and they are washed as soon as I wash the sheets for the kids, First night.
Think about it, Would you use a dish towel that was used by the prior Renter? I really think, They are going out with the laundry.

the pot holders go from member to member with the "crock pot swap". In all of WDW there's only one set of dirty dark green pot holders. You get them when you get the crock pot.

At nearly all the other timeshares we've ever visited, pot holders were left together with the kitchen towels on the counter, near the starter pack of coffee. They've always appeared to have been freshly laundered. Occasionally, they've had a small burn mark and/or the color is faded from frequent washings. We've always left them in the heap of used towels when we've checked-out.

I would NOT like to use a pot holder with the grease or dried food smudges from someone else's cooking left on it for days or weeks in the drawer! Yuck! Wouldn't that attract ants?? Seems like routinely laundering the potholders would make a lot more sense! Where are the potholders normally kept in the kitchen of a 1BR, 2BR or 3BR?

The first time we stayed at OKW, there were some coasters for drinks in the kitchen closet. We stayed there 3 times since and didn't have them. I heard they no longer stock them since they also "walked away".

Were those potholders from the BCV , that were missing, i thought that alligator looked alittle plump last time we saw him........... i should ask him if the potholders were to well done, if they were to burnt...........
