Who started TIW rumor??

Its been our experience that we can make this pay off in one trip. Figure 4 adults going to a couple of signature dinners (or perhaps 2 adults going to V&A's) with beverages will get us over the break-even point quickly.
This is one of the problems with TIW. It works really well for a larger group but not as well for a couple. For DH & I it takes two trips to make it worthwhile. We save $50-$60 per trip so at 2 trips per year and $75 for the card we save enough to make it worth getting one.

If TiW costs $75 then $75 / 20% = $450 break-even point.
$75 / .2 = $375 so the break-even point is $375 for a $75 TIW card.

Also let the manager know why you don't feel the service was good so they can address it.

I say, let the manager know as SOON as you start having service that doesn't make you happy. Would you rather have bad service and pay less, or would you rather have BETTER service right then and there? Let them know ASAP!

Don't know if TIW would pay for itself in one trip though. I guess it just depends on how much TS dining you will do. We have APs and with multiple trips, and it absolutely does pay for itself.

We are a 3 person family- two not-big-eaters and 1 big-eating kid. And we're vegetarian, so we aren't ordering super-expensive items from the menu. With only one or two drinks, with not quite one TS per day, we hit the breakeven point before we had 10 days in the parks on our first trip.

Our second trip during the year was pure discount for food. It was nice. :)
