Who Sells Nooks?

Now that we've decided to get a nook I was trying to picture what stores to look at for Black Friday. I know Best Buy will have them for $99 and obviously Barnes and Noble will be selling them but for ? price. Anyone know any other stores that stock the nook? I'm thinking Best Buy will be a mad house and I'm not willing to stand outside in the cold for hours before the stores open. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

And of course Barnes and Noble. I have both the Nook and Kindle. I use my Nook more. Maybe because I got it first. But both are nice. And I think Books a Million is going to start selling the Nook.

I know that Staples sells the Kindle. Not sure about the Nook now that I think of it.

Barnes and Noble has its own ebay store, (ID barnesandnobleinc) , some people have reported seeing them on overstock.com,the B & N store, etc.

Barnes and Noble, Best Buy, and Walmart all sell the nook. I'm watching the Black Friday ads and so far Best Buy is the only one with a sale. But, I have called our local Best Buy and found out that they are limiting 1 nook per buying party. A buying party is anyone arriving together, whether it's for 1 bill or 10. So if you're like me and need 2, preferably 3, you'd only be able to buy 1...

Like you, I'm not willing to stand forever just to get 1. Oh well, guess they lost my business on Friday, but I'm sure that they won't even realize it....

Buy.com has the refurbished Nooks with B&N being the seller.

Just bought one through buy.com, also went through ebates to earn extra cash back, and purchased with the disney visa. The refurbished ones, also have a 1 year warranty.

Has anyone here bought a refurbished nook? I'm thinking of going that route for a Christmas gift but want to make sure it will seem new to the recipient. Does it come in the same box/packaging as a new one? Is there anything in the box to indicate it's refurbished?

Also surprisingly Amazon sells the nook... I have both a new from Best Buy Nook and a Refurbished from barnesandnobleinc (the ebay one) that just came as DH's xmas gift and it is great. Identical to mine. Works great. Looks brand new and came in a box perfect for gift giving

I just got the refurbished nook from overstock.com. It came in a big box from Barnes and Noble. The nook was in a regular Nook box with powercord, etc. The only thing that would give away that it was a refurbished nook is that it had a clear sticker sealing the side of the box together that said "Certified Pre-Owned Nook". The sticker could be taken off carefully.

I don't know how Best Buy could limit the Nook to one per party. How would they know who is together?

Thanks for the info! I think I'll go with the refurb. I want the 3G model which is $119 for refurb vs $199 for new.

P.S. - You can buy refurb nooks directly on B&N's website as well. On the nook page at the bottom of the menu on the left-hand side is a link for Certified Pre-Owned.
