Who Says We Can't Have Fun With Cuts?

I know, the cuts are terrible and the source of a ton of frustration right now. But, I thought of a fun little hypothetical to spark some fun debate. This can either go over really well and be a ton of fun... or be terrible. Let's see...

As one of Disney's biggest fans, you've just been hired as a consultant! It's your first day and you're pulled into a meeting. FUN! Will you be a part of the ideation of Disney's next great attraction? Sampling menu items? Nope. You're handed a list of potential cuts, told to think them over and present your argument. Not all cuts will happen, but they're all a possibility and you need to give your opinion and reasoning behind each. On the flip side, you get one "veto" per category. You must present an argument for at least one thing that needs to stay. This can be something another consultant recommended, or a simple thing you think must stay. Here's the list:

Park Closures
- While it pains us to do this and it is the least likely, we must discuss the possibility of closing ONE of the four main parks.
- More likely, we must close ONE land within any of the 4 main parks.
- You have to get ride of one ride or attraction from each park.

Restaurants/Food
- The Signature restaurants have been a major hit, however, we must close one Deluxe in the park or the resorts.
- We must also close one Table Service in the park and one in the resorts.
- We need to cut out one Disney snack.
*These restaurants and snacks must be owned and operated by Disney and not sponsored (i.e. Starbucks, Wolfgang Puck Express, etc.)

Resorts
- Close ONE Value
- Close ONE Moderate
- Close ONE Deluxe

Extras
- We've unfortunately come to the point where we must decide between Extra Magic Hours OR FastPass+
- Also on the table - morning EMH vs. Evening EMH.

--------Here are my answers to get things rolling.
Park Closures:

Choose ONE of the 4 main parks

It kills me to do this because it's my personal favorite, but EPCOT. You can't touch Magic Kingdom. While DHS is going through a transition, it's going to be a fan favorite once the construction is done.

That leaves AK and EPCOT. On one hand, EPCOT hosts the Food and Wine & Flower and Garden. It's a huge destination for foodies and adds a ton of culture. The same can be said for AK, though. Animal Kingdom has more rides and attractions for guests. The theming makes it one of the best parks at WDW. You can easily infuse a more "foodie culture" to the park. So, while it kills me, I'm offering up EPCOT.

Choose ONE land
I'm going with Future World West in EPCOT. I know, it's home to Soarin', one of the most popular rides at Disney, but outside of that, it's wasted space. You can easily move Soarin elsewhere in the park and either close or revamp FW West.

Rides/Attractions
Magic Kingdom: Speedway
DHS: Lights, Camera, Action!
EPCOT: The Frozen ride. What? It's not up for debate?
AK: Bug's Life. It scarred me as a child.

Restaurants:
Deluxe:

Citricos - I know it's a very good restaurant, but it pales in comparison to Narcoossee's. If people are going to GF for dinner, they'll more than likely head to Narcoossee's or V&A.

Table Service:
Tony's. No explanation needed.

Snack:
Turkey Leg. I know, the beloved turkey leg... It's not that good, sorry.

Resorts:
Value:
All Star Sports or Music. When it opened it was such a cool theme, but I think it's seen better days.
Moderate: I love POFQ, but it's getting the axe. Guests who want the theming and New Orleans experience can stay at POR.
Deluxe: This is the toughest one. I'm not touching the monorail resorts. I'm going with Yacht or Beach Club. They're both the most similar to each other. See POFQ explanation.

Extras
- Morning vs. Night: Night. Nothing beats the experience of running around a half-empty park at night. It gives on-site guests more time, as well.
- FP+ vs. EMH: Absolutely EMH. You can't get through the parks without FP+ and it caters to both on-site and off-site guests. What a stupid question, Disney.

I'll play!

Choose ONE of the 4 main parks
DHS - take the money they're planning to spend there and beef up my beloved Epcot. Please.

Choose ONE land
Future World. It's just not what it used to be.

Rides/Attractions
MK - Speedway. The fumes. Just say no.
Epcot - Ellen's Energy Universe or whatever it is called. It's so bad I don't know the name.
DHS - Lights, Camera, Action! I just don't like it.
AK - Nemo. It's not a musical. Bring back Tarzan.

Restaurants
Deluxe - Artist Point. No reason other than I haven't eaten there so I won't miss it.
Table Service - Tony's. If you've been there you know why.
Snack - Fruit. I'm on vacation.

Resorts
Value - All Star Sports. Because you should be able to abbreviate a Disney resort without censoring.
Moderate - FW Cabins. Because I had to pick one.
Deluxe - Yacht Club. Feels stuffy.

Extras
Morning. It's more fun to play in the parks at night. And it's cooler in the summer months.
EMH. Just keep the parks open late.

Choose ONE land
Dinoland in AK - the midway tthat costs extra really annoys me

AK - Primeval Whirl makes me hurl

Restaurants
We don't do any TS restaurants, so I'm not sure

Resorts

Moderate - CBR- stayed here last trip for a few days and the bus service was horrible.
Deluxe - AKL

Extras
Morning - I don't like getting up early anyway
EMH

Park Closures
- Close Hollywood Studios if it's a theme park that has to go.
- Land? I'll save the trouble and just say all of Hollywood Studios!
- Attraction at each park:
- MK: Stitch
- EPCOT: Ellen's Energy Adventure
- AK: That entire dinosaur carnival. All of it.
- HS: All of the park.

Restaurants/Food
- Deluxe Restaurant Closure: Citricos - I didn't even know it existed until two months ago
- Table Service Closure: Tony's in MK
- Disney Snack: Turkey Leg

Resorts
- Value: Any of the All Star
- Moderate: FW Cabins
- Deluxe: Boardwalk

Extras
- Kill Fastpass Plus. Make everyone wait in lines.
