It was so good Slave vs Goddess. It was a Wicca family & a I'm not sure what to call them family. I cried at the end when the Wicca Dad cried & said he would never neglect his family again.

I can't believe he broke that plate! I was scared when he did that. Did you see how he jumped in at the sitdown before the slave mom said anything about it?

This was a good one! I didn't think the Wicca family would change and was also schocked when the father broke the plate. I knew there would be some change in the other family when the father had to do all the housework. I really ended up liking the father from the wicca family and also cried a little!

It's kind of funny, but the guy with all the tattoos and the piercings...just goes to show you that one should never make assumptions. He really loves his family and want to do right by them.
Good for him.

"Slave mom" refers to the fact that in the one family the wife works from the moment she gets up to the moment she goes to bed. No, I *mean* it, she's doing non-stop housework from sun-up to sunset.
And the continual waiting on her family is expected. She seemed to like doing it, but I do think she seemed tired and appreciated the changes when she went back to her own family (didn't see the whole episode so don't know wll the details). Didn't seem so easy when he had to do it that one day, did it? (And he confessed that he couldn't get everything done in a day that she did).

I didnt see breaking the plate coming either but good for him. The girls seemed to really enjoy the cheering activity. I cried too at the end listening to the little boy and the father.

The other mom was ok but that household needed some changes.

yep, this one was a weird show. No fighting with the wives afterwards. They know what they are getting into (sort of) before the show. They tell them things that we don't even know about. I wou9ld think it would be hard to do this BUT FUN at the same time.

Everyone thinks their way of life is the way, but totally not true.

Everyone to each their own - but not to say one way might be a little more controlled than the other

I thought it was a pretty good show. Both families seem to have learned a few things.

Thought, I'd have loved to see the "they're not Cccchhhrrriiissstteeennssss" woman paired with the Wicca's!

I thought it was a good episode. I totally didn't see the plate breaking coming either. I was all teared up when the dad was talking at the sit-down. I'm glad he saw the light and is spending time with his family.

I was floored when the slave mom was all "Dad is king and then comes son # 1 and then son #2, and then comes the dog..." WTH! I was looking at my Dh the whole episode....rolling my eyes. Then when I saw that she had to ask him for money! When Wicca mom approached him about that he was such an ***, "the paycheck has my name on it..." I would have slapped him silly!

I sat in disbelief for the first 10 minutes that people REALLY think like that! As the show progressed and they showed the new mom in the old moms roles I was like WOW the kids REALLY do believe int hese fairies!

I realise you were being tongue in cheek, but I know people who live in a lifestyle where they are in a slave/Master relationship with their spouse, that's why I was asking for clarification.

The other Mom was really a Goddess for the Wiccins. She had the cresent mark on her head & a covent that came & worshiped her.
