Who repeats Lights, Motors, Action?

we watch it and use it as an opportunity to sit down and relax a bit, taking a break from all the walking.

Boring, pretentious, testosterone filled waste of time.
We left early and couldn't get out of there fast enough.
Go back? HA

Agree with PP about people with little boys. My son was 10 last year and wanted to see it again. (We say it 3 other times before.) We ended up skipping it because the parks were pretty crowded in August and that would have sucked up a big chunk of time. However, he still mentions how we missed it. :) Personally, I don't care if I ever see it again. But boys that love cars love this thing!

Seen it three times. First time because it seemed really cool, and we did enjoy it for the most part. That was in '07 on our honeymoon. Then we went back in '09 and took our parents along, so we saw it again because it was new to them. That's when I realized seeing it again lacked the excitement of not knowing what was coming. So we skipped it the next several trips. Last trip in '13 we saw it because they added Lightning McQueen and DS is obsessed with Cars. He loved that part, but the rest he wasn't as excited about as I thought he would be. So we will likely skip it on future trips until he asks to see it or something.

ITA! We saw it in Jan. in 2006, and I cannot imagine ever wanting to see it again, especially not in the hotter months. I can just remember being pretty hot and bored. It's kinda nice as it's one thing we don't ever worry about trying to fit in.

I am a huge advocate of "I made it to Disney, I'm doing it all!" But even I can't imagine sitting through the boring rhetoric of the car stunt show anymore.

Does anyone continue to see the show? What thrills you about it? Is it your kid's favorite?

I'm intrigued.

Yes, we do 'repeat' it and we are just a couple - always enjoy the complete show. 'Any' ride you repeat will have things in it you remember, which includes all the rides at Disney.

This is us in our normal lives driving down the road -

Husband - "did you see that? It's a suped-up 1975 Roadster convertible with a duel exhaust pipe and split converters with a fuel injected under the hood package equipped with pod thrusters!" as he wipes the drool off his face

Me - "huh?"

Husband - *heavy sigh* - "the black car"

Me - "oh"

To me, a car is a big piece of problems with four tires and an engine that gets me from Point A to Point B. To my husband, a car is a masterpiece.

So yes, Lights, Motors, Action is a repeater for us, mainly for him. I just grab a beer and a seat and watch how it makes him happy. The beer really helps.

Go ask him where the engines came from in those stunt cars (bet he knows :thumbsup2)

I mostly go for DS. I still enjoy LMA as its a fun place to attempt action photography.

Same here! I've been to LMA once each trip... while I could pass, I know DS will want to go... cars, screeching tires, flames, stunts.... it's all boy.... and each time, I experiment with my camera trying to get different photo/video shots.

Seen it once - first year it was at DHS. Willing to see it again, but since it only shows twice a day when I go, its been difficult to find the right time. Won't shed it tear if it is replaced.

No repeats here

I would go if DH wanted to. He maintains our cars. Down to fixing motors in our garage. Tip top. However, he agrees about once being enough for him.

We've seen it twice and that's enough for me. I do like the bathrooms there so have used them especially when we are at the Osbourne lights!! I can see that it would be a must do for some people. That's what I like about Disney, not everything is for everyone and that's how it should be. There's something for everyone!!

Enjoy The Magic!!

You'd have to pay me big bucks to go to LMA. That's all I've going to say.

Saw it back in 2006 and now again in 2014 and man it was great! Loved they replaced herbie with lightening McQueen and LOVED the show! Definitely watching again in September !

I only go to WDW every four to five years so I'll be seeing it again this fall. It's a good break if it's not hideously hot.

We have seen LMA and Indy a bunch of times but we just can't get enthused about them anymore. Why of why doesn't Disney update these shows??? I know - money.
