I liked Ariels. Good seafood, a smaller type restaurant with a nice fish aquarium. It reminds me of my mother. It was one of the last restaurants we dined at with her before her breast cancer recurred.

I remember all of them we have eaten at them all.
Me too. Can you think of more? There was also the Gulf Coast Room on the lower level of the Contempory. They had a violinist who strolled and played while you were dining. Very good food. A smaller restaurant as well.

Tangora Terrace holds fond memories for me. DH and I ate there on the last night of our honeymoon during Hurrican Erin.

Tangaroa Terrace.
Loved it for breakfast. Served Tonga Toast before it had that name. Later also had a great breakfast buffet in addition to a la carte.

Fireworks Factory.
We never tried it but always meant to do so. It was by Portobellas's.

Empress Lilly "The Empress Room">
Our children were too young for this so we waited...too long. Same with Top of the World dinner show although we did enjoy breakfast/brunch there a number of times.

Steerman's Steak House
We had several good meals there as well as at Fisherman's Deck next door. Much better than the replacement.

Lake Buena Vista Club.
We had dinner there once and enjoyed it.

Ariels
Another one of those places we meant to get to but never did. :sad2:

Fireworks Factory was great!! That was our big night out the first time DH and I went.

We did a lot of these restaurants with the kids when we were on the World Plans. The plans used to be more affordable and I could really make them work. In fact, I still have a lot of paper tickets that I can still use from those days! Talk about the gift that keeps on giving! We would use them for five days and then resume pay as you go. That was all the mega meals I could tolerate. ;) I remember one year when we bought the World Plan. Disney cashed our check, etc and then decided to create the Grand Plan thus eliminating Victoria and Alberts from the other inclusive plans. I called the GM of the Grand Floridian and complained that since they cashed my check when the plan included Victoria and Alberts they had to honor it. I finally won my case after repeated calls, etc. I was so annoyed that I booked it twice with all of the kids and my mother! We also did the Empress Room each time too.

Our server was so nice that he gave the kids about 50 sparklers. That was a big deal then because you couldn't buy them in Ct.

Don't forget The Adventureland Verandah, Chef Mickey's At Downtown Disney and Handwiches!
I really miss The Fireworks Factory and The Adventureland Verandah.
Wasn't the Pueblo Room at the Contemporary?

We ate at all of them. There used to be a character breakfast on the Empress Lily (now Fulton's). We loved the breakfast buffet at T. Terrace and the evening stir fry's. We also ate at the Golf Resort before it became the Shades of Green and at Disney Institute.

Yes, It was next to Kona Cafe, right? Or was it Konas. They used to have character breakfasts there.

Yes, now I remember it. I also loved the handwiches.

My memory is slipping.......what was Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary before.......we went to an Italian buffet there. I loved Chef Mickey's in the village and Adventureland Terrace. Remember when the kid's meal came with jello with mini marshmallows on top.
