Who received free dining today?

Not all resorts are available for all offers. Nothing new there. If you want free dining, you will have to switch to a resort where it is available.

Been watching for MONTHS....

Had bad family news on Monday....so didnt get to check till today....

Also sorta upset at Disney VISA....they used to run the promotion for cardholders for several weeks before...this time only 2 days??

I called at 5am my time was on the phone with a CM by 5:01 changed 5 reservations and was off the phone by 5:24am

Group saved $9280.50 in dinning cost per person average of $403.50

WOW! That is sooo awesome for all of you. I called today and was able to get the FD for QS and was excited about saving $178.85 .

I did! Arriving October 30th, staying at Pop! Sooo darn excited!!! We get to take in MNSSHP, Food & Wine and MVMCP all in one trip! With free dining! It is going to be Epic!

Do you have a standard room? This is what we are hoping for next year - assuming free dining is offered again in the fall. It just isn't worth it for my husband and I if I have to upgrade rooms.

Yes we have a standard room, we upgraded our dining, so for 2 weeks in a standard value, 10 day passes and free dining with upgrade to the regular dining plan, it is less than $3200! Not bad in my opinion!

Thanks for the encouragement...I got a super helpful cast member who understood what I was doing and what I was looking for.

He had me on hold for 30 minutes, checking back every 5 or so to let me know he was working on it. Finally......

He got on and said I GOT IT!!!!

Saved us 1200.00 and kept the POLY with DELUXE DINING FREE!

Ok, I didn't ask for free DDP yesterday when I booked. Is that all I need to do because free dining is not showing up on my reservation.

I would appreciate any input as I will have to wait hours to call Disney (I know that's no big deal, but I don't want to have to wait that long!).

Any input will be greatly appreciated...is it just as easy as not asking for free dining? I didn't want to go during free dining, but my dates are in the middle.

You didn't say if you were booked for a suite or a standard Little Mermaid room, but the LM rooms are not included. You do not need a PIN # to book. You can go here...

It WAS LMS, but not available. Cannot you stick around like 5 min? I have already booked without FDDP, and she said I could wait until July 20 to make the $200 deposit for the whole package (inc room, tix and dining). It's just me going. I may have another ? while I am working this. THANKS!!

I had picked POP just a min ago and it said Free Dining on the booking page. I accidentally clicked off and now when I try again, it doesn't say quick dining. Oh geez. I think I'm so shook up I am screwing up.

Just go back to the link I gave you and start over. POP is a great resort and you can walk over the bridge and still get a tour of AoA and eat there, too.

ETA: POP has an awesome ice cream shop, too.

I LOVE Pop and the fact that I can walk over to AoA is something I never thought about. Last time I went, I stayed at All Star Movies, so I never got the chance to see how far how along they were. We have stayed at Pop before and I love it.

Ok, I got everything in my basket. It's asking for the $200 deposit online, whereas on the phone, she said I could wait 10 days or whatever to make the deposit. That's no big deal. I am just worried I can't make any changes online! I may end up having to change dates for the flight.

Wow, airfare is actually cheaper for the dates I changed it to. I wish I could buy the airfare now as to Wednesday.

It is true that you cannot make changes to your package online, but all you would need to do is call Disney and they can adjust things for you if need be. Just double check the blackout dates of the promotion, and before you buy your airfare, you may want to make sure you can change your dates by calling Disney (just incase the new dates are sold out).

I think it will be okay to wait. POP is a large resort, so waiting to book for just a little while should be fine. If you can, just call tomorrow and have them hold it for you until you get your airfare squared away. Good luck!
