Who needs May/June codes?

argh! I hate hearing about codes when I'm unable to call! Hopefully something will still be available when I finally CAN call...

I've been looking for a May code for POR...if you have one, please send it along. Then again...AKL at $135...ok you sold me, I'll take one of those!

Have only two people besides the OP gotten the code to work without a PIN?? Did you use the 800 number?? Has anyone gotten lower rates on a moderate or value with this code??
I called with the 407 number and was told there was no such code. We really need a discount for our May trip or it might not happen.
Thanks

What are the dates in June that this is good for? Is it all of June, or just the first part?

Thanks so much for that May discount code, I used it today to book my trip at pop century and i got it for 59.00 per night, what an awesome deal. I had a great cast member, she also told me to hold off on buying park tickets, because they are going to be having some new park tickets on june 3rd or 8th and it will be cheaper than it is now, she said i can get like a 7 day hopper for about 40.00 a day. that is awesome so i will be waiting.
Once again thanks for the code.

Yes, I used the 1-800 number and she said I didn't need PIN. *** code is good for moderates too -- I booked CBR at $79 a night and this code worked all over the World. Now, some of the rates really were not good at all, but there was concierge, Jr suites, garden view, waterview, etc........at least for my dates, late May. So I booked both a 1 BR at BCV and 2 adjoining at CBR and if a better AP rate doesn't come out for the villa, then I'll just go with the 2 adjoining rooms.

My CM at the toll free number also searched for other codes and gave the prices at every single resort at the World; I didn't mind spending 10-15 minutes on the phone because it is toll free!
Keep calling until you get one who will type the code in for you!

Well, now I know why we got POFQ for only $79 a night! We called the toll free # three times asking for AAA rates. The first time we were quoted $120 a night, the second time we called and were ready to book, we were quoted $140 a night, so we hung up and called right back and were given $79 a night. I couldn't figure it out because I knew there were no codes out yet. And my DH, who was the one on the phone, said the CM didn't make any mention of a code when she pulled up the price. We even called back again after we made the reservation to confirm that we were really getting this rate. I am so excited to get a room at POFQ so cheap! That, combined with the new ticket system, is going to save us a lot of money this trip!

Like I said, The code is ***, I never had a pin # or email or postcard sent. I have only been on this site a week or so. I just called and was bound and determind to get a great price! Missiowa

CRO is Central Reservations Office. They will do your room reservations and make priority seatings for you.

Thanks so much, Missiowa, for sharing your code with all of us!

Thank you so much for posting this!!! I'm calling CRO first thing in the morning to see if I can apply the code to my June reservation.

I love these boards! :flower1:

Me too, I just booked Christmas Eve and CM told me there were currently no codes available for my dates May 28 - June 4.

Would the dis'ers who got the code post their dates and $'s please?

Thanks

Michele

Called CRO (407...)and was told I needed a PIN with *** code. CM, however, was very helpful, and implied AP rates may be coming. Did anyone else get the code rate without having a pin? Anyway, good luck to all!

We called this a.m. and asked about the code--I was skeptical. First reservationist indicated it was a post card code and required a pin. We called back and the 2nd reservationist indicated it was simply a valid code. We were able to book CBR (POR also available) for 6/10 and 6/21 (two separate reservations for two single nights at the beginning and end of our previously booked stay). The rate was $79 ($88.09 w/tax) for 2 adults, 2 juniors. She indicated there was no PIN necessary. . .

Now, all of that said, I'm skeptical too and won't be upset if I find later that this is a PIN required rate and I will have to cancel. This is a ROOM Only discount rate, according to the CRO with the 5 day cancellation policy. I did ask if she'd check whether it would apply to our Polynesian GVC stay from 6/11 through 20 and she indicated it was not available for that stay. I then said that I guess I'd have to wait for those AP rates and she said--"Yes, they should be coming. . ." I'm sure the latter statement was just small talk since I wouldn't expect APs for June until around late March to mid-April. As an aside, I had initially wanted CSR and it was sold out for the dates I wanted.

Anyway--it sounds as if it might be a legitimate rate--it may take a couple of calls before you are able to find someone who can/will book it. I find it very odd that this hasn't been posted anywhere else, e.g., DIS discount page, Mouseavers, etc. Maybe a DU agent or other Resorts Mod will have more insight. That's my one concern about the legitimacy of my information. Hang on to your information (reservationist name, etc.) and be sure to verify that it is NOT a direct mailing "code" with a PIN requirement.

Good luck--and to answer the questions, the rate is good through June, according to our CRO reservationist. ;)

I GOT IT!!! I GOT IT!!! I GOT IT!!!

I called just a few minutes ago. The first CM said I needed a PIN so following the wonderful advice that I always get here on the DIS I thanked the CM, hung up and immediately called right back. The second CM who was so very sweet said "no problem, would you like Pop Century for $59.00 per night as opposed to your current AAA rate of $82.84 per night?" Well, I don't need to tell you my answer to that question!!! I'm sooooo happy!

For those asking for dates mine are June 9-14. We're staying 5 nights after our first ever Disney Cruise.

Thank you so much MissIowa for posting! You have made lots of people very happy.
