Who moderates the moderators?

So I am not exactly a Dis expert and a little lazy to read through everything, so I was wondering does anyone moderate what the moderators do?

I noticed on the budget board a moderator shut down a post. They apparantly did not like the response of one of the posters, although it was curtious, but contained info they did not agree with. They then referenced another thread and then shut it down.

My question is can they do that, just shut it down for thier own reason. Does anyone check on them. Just curious. Moderators feel free to reply.

(I think they've been entrusted to make whatever decision they want. Meaning no, no one monitors them. I'm not 100% sure though.)

If you're talking about the stealing music for the MP3 thread, I completely agree with the moderator.

As for the original question, I think the moderators have complete control...?

I agree. I think the Disboards could be legally liable if they are "advising" how to illegally download music. Once that was posted, I think it had to be shut down.

Webmasters do have ultimate control. But threads are not closed at a moderators whim, there are guidelines established. If you have any concerns about a moderator you can e-mail the webmasters at admin@wdwinfo.com
