Who makes the Best Microwave popcorn ?

Is this so important that you had to aask twice:p

Deja vu...thought I answered this one.:scratchin

Oh well, one more post with no additional thought.:)

Definitely Boy Scouts, light butter from their fundraisers.

If not the right season and I ran out from the last year I choose homestyle by popsecret.

Orville Redenbacher's Pour Over Cheddar Butter! Sinfully good!! We have to hide it from the kids.

Pop Secret Homestyle, without a doubt. Tastes like real butter, and table salt-not that gritty popcorn salt. And just the right amount. Yummmm. Nothing else will do..:goodvibes

Funny you should ask. One of my current obsessions is Orville Redenbacher (sp?) Ultimate Theatre Style Popcorn, with the Sour Cream and Onion flavour pouch. I don't even like sour cream and onion chips, but this stuff on the popcorn makes it sinful. I am putty in the hands of anyone who can produce a box.

I don't care for microwave popcorn, I prefer hot air poped.

We buy tons of Boy Scout popcorn every year to support DS's troop. It's pretty good, but I really like the Act II Corn on the Cob Microwave Popcorn. It smells just like corn-on-the-cob and tastes yummy. I think that Orville used to make a microwave carmel corn. That was pretty good too, but I haven't seen it in the stores for quite some time.

We love Orville's 94% free Kettle Corn.....it's really yummy and a lot less fattening than others :) :)

Haven't had a bag of microwave popcorn in quite a number of years. Why bother with microwave popcorn when it is so easy to make it yourself on the stovetop? Mmmmmmmmmm, home-made kettle corn........

I used to love the Act II Corn on the Cob popcorn, but the Sam's Club in my area stopped selling it.

I can't find it anywhere anymore. :(

I like Act II Butter Lovers popcorn.

BTW, I got these microwave popcorn tips from the Boy Scouts during one of my son's popcorn drives:

Always warm up your microwave before making your microwave popcorn. Put a cup of warm tap water in the microwave for a minute or so prior to making your popcorn.

Before putting the microwave popcorn bag into the oven, loosen the popcorn kernels by gently (you don't want to rip the bag) kneading the bag. Spread them out over the area of the bag.

I find that this really helps and makes more of the popcorn pop.

DH has another tip: After the popcorn is popped but before ripping open the bag, turn it upside down and shake out the unpopped kernels from the small hole at the top of the bag where the steam is allowed to escape from. Then you can toss the unpopped kernels and not have them in the bottom of the popcorn bowl.

As you can see, we take our popcorn popping seriously at our house!

Has anyone else tried the CINNABON popcorn by Orville Redenbocker? OMG!!! If you try it, you too will be addicted.

Wishing everyone a "magical" day!!
