Who listens to Disney theme park music?

DH and I have a bunch of the pop versions of Disney songs that they play on the Cruise ship decks. Every time we are on board we buy a new CD. I also love love love my Illuminations CD. And now I am off to investigate the other sources ya'll have shared. Thanks!!:thumbsup2

Did you know that the song from WALL-E is played on Main Street everyday?

I'm talking about "Put On Your Sunday Clothes" from Hello Dolly. I listen to it every morning on Live365 when they play Magic Kingdom Main Street loop music. They play it around 9:30 every day. You can imagine my delight and surprise when I heard this song about 2 minutes into the WALL-E movie.:goodvibes

well, my husband bought the 5 cd pack and put them on his iPod. He listens to them daily, 5 days a week while at work. (and to think that he wasn't real hyped about going to Disney last year.........his first ever trip to Disney.......now.....he is the one that booked our trip again for this Thanksgiving!!)

I LOVE hearing these stories of folks who weren't excited about Disney before they went and once they've been, are completely hooked! :goodvibes Same thing happened to me and I'm glad it did. I listen to park music just about every day. I agree with others who've said that it enhances the park experience. Prior to listening, I would rarely notice the background music while in the parks, now I do notice it and enjoy the parks even more.

But really, where do you get these tracks besides listening to them on the radio? I would like to listen to them other places besides my computer. I could use them in dance class when I'm conducting warm-ups. I want a CD. Do you have to be a dj or something to get access?

Ummm... at work now.... listening to Disney's Happiest Celebration on Earth CD. Love, love, love it!!!!! It's not spoiling a thing!!! I've heard it so much and been so many times, I know the words to all the songs and know which song is coming on next!!

I got most of my music at the parks, but I ordered the 2 CD set of Disney World Music-Where Magic Lives-Official Album from Amazon. It has a ton of park music. Another one of my favorites is Magic Kingdom Event Party Music. I got it at MK, but I have seen it for sale on Ebay and Amazon. It has all the music from the Pirate & Princess Party, Halloween Party, and Dream Along with Mickey. There's also a set of Disneyland music that I have my eye on.....;)

All the time! :) I have the Cd's in my car (for my 45 mile commute to work). We got a ton of stuff on the computer and of course Dis Radio is pretty cool to listen to......although it is a little repetitive!

I downloaded all the music from WDW from resort music, to park music you hear outside, to rides music / dialogue, pre-show music from shows like fantasmic and IllumiNations, and even have que line music from the rides, and all the shows and yes even the monorail spiels and the resort channel (music and spiels) you watch in your resort room and I listen to them everyday and never get sick of it. I dont see it ruining the magic. I actually think it makes me more excited to go to Disney then anything.

I even went as far as seperating all the music. So all the MK music was together, all epcot music was together, etc. And then once I seperated the music, I seperated them even further and took all of fantasyland music together, all of adventureland together, etc.; epcot - i would take like the innoventions music and place them together, seperated the countries so I had the norway music you hear and the malstorm ride together, american pavilion - i would have all the area music together, and then have voices of liberty and then the show you watch in american pavilion. etc. All in all I have 461 songs on my computer (totaling at 90 hrs according to windows media player), not including disneyland CA, disneyland paris, disneyland tokyo, disney cruise line, and all the christmas disney parks music. The 461 songs is just from MK, Epcot, AK and MGM/DHS.

Actually, I listen to it all the time as well!! My DF actually makes Disney cd's for our trip. The last trip he did a song from each state that we would pass through and then pretty much did each park individually!!!:goodvibes :cool1: It was really good!! I used to make fun of him for it, But I secretly love them and he knows it!!!:lovestruc

I told him that he should sell them because he does such a good job...plus I love hearing Disney music!!!!:cheer2: :wizard:

I listen to Spectromagic, Wishes, and Fantasmic all the time. I even have Spectro set for my ringtone on my phone.

I have a World of Warcraft hobby also...but i turn off of the music to that and listen to live 365...I have the VIP membership so i have a lot of disney stations preset...Radio Buena Vista is a good one too.

My wife thinks I am weird listening to disney all the time....but I can't help it. It reminds me of being there and makes me want to go back soon!

I listen to it all the time, and it makes me MORE excited to go back!

I have the newest 2 CD set - Four Parks - One World, some other loops I downloaded from other sources (Main Street USA Loop, Innoventions Loop) and other various Disney music from movie soundtracks and the like.

It puts me in my happy place...

i always want to get the CDs but i know ill never use them because i just have my ipod---i guess i should start searching itunes? but i never knew about these sites!!! i cant listen at work but i cant wait to go home and use them!! esp when im planning my upcoming trip and reading all my books :rotfl: i have some songs on my ipod that i put on a loop but im so excited now to try these sites you all have mentioned

I listen to Utilidors Audio Broadcasting (uabmagic.com) EVERY day at work and i love it! You can request songs and such but I just like listening to what they play. They have a huge playlist. My DH makes fun of me saying I'm ruining my anticipation, but it makes me more excited and keeps me in the disney mood. That in turn, makes me more relaxed and easy going. Call me a weirdo but this music does something special to me!

I'm actually listening to disney music on Live365 right now!!
I listen to disney music all the time.
I don't think it ruins the magic at all, it just makes me even more excited to go.

If you would permit me. I have a disney music radio station on live365 that some of you might be interested in. I try and keep it fresh not playing the same music over and over. So if you would like check it out Music from the Mouse

Not sure about anyone else....I can't get enough of the Illuminations soundtrack.

My kids watch Disney Sing Along Songs (the Disneyland one, the Campout one, and the Beach Party one) constantly- especially in the car. For us I think it just generates more excitement for our trips :goodvibes
