I kind of thought 2.5 months ahead would be ok, nope cant get chef mickeys and we really enjoyed it several years ago. We have several kids from 12 yo boys to 6 yo girl, what would be a good character meal for us to try? thanks

Chef Mickeys can be tough to get anytime, it's really popular.

I like the GF breakfast. (1900 Park Fare)

It often books up 6 months in advance.

All the dining options with characters will be harder to get into, but sometimes if you keep calling, you'll luck out and get an ADR time from a cancellation.

well i planned my Dec trip and at the 6 months, got all the meals i wanted, Chef Mickey's LTT during MVMCP, and CRT.

But now i am rebooking for last week of OCt. And i have limited choices. I too, couldn't get Chef Mickey BF or dinner. I also was out of luck for LTT unless i did the one during a party which had a 6:50time but not on the night i am doing MNSSHP, so i couldn't do it(i guess with party tickets you can only do before 6pm :confused3 )

I have Garden Grill, Ohana's for late BF (which interfers with park plans for morning) and another early BF going on day of Hollwood studios (so i will miss Rope drop) and dinner H&V(DHS)

I still need to book more but haven't found anything good. Hoping for last minute cancellations. They really only want to do character meals, and are not big BF eaters, but dinners were less selections.

Hoping more openings as we get closer.

Would the kids in your group enjoy Stitch? If so, they would probably O'Hana. We have been for breakfast and really enjoyed it. We didn't have kids with us but they did a little conga line type dance and the view of the MK was beautiful in the morning.

I hope you have luck with cancellations etc. If you don't get what you want before you get there, I would try calling WDW-DINE in the morning and see what's available for that day. I have been successful all three times I have done this.

Best Wishes!

1900 PF breakfast includes Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter. The Mad Hatter was so funny! DD14 enjoyed it so much, she asked to go back next trip :thumbsup2
They also had Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger :goodvibes
We all enjoyed the food, too.

You will be hard-pressed to get any decent seating times at a character meal at this point. I would just call Disney dining and ask what they have available on the dates you are there. I am sure they can come up with something for your family.

Hope ya'll have a magical vacation!

I just called yesterday for all my ADR's for the trip I am taking at that end of Oct. I was able to get Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. I was give quite a few times options for both places.
