Who knew choking each other would earn us fastpasses?

I love those last few of John...sleeping on the horse and on the truck. :rotfl2:

Now that is funny :lmao::lmao::lmao:

By the end of the day, John had the sleeping pictures down pat. He was thinking of all sorts of places to take them.

Great update. What a super day!!! It's great that everyone is still goofing around at the end of a long day. Are you planning on braving SWW next year or sometime in the future?

May the force be with you!

Oh yeah, we are hoping that Star Wars Weekends will fall within our travel dates next year. We will be there May 26 through June 4th.

Love the pic of John "asleep" on the horse. That is a classic.

I love the picture of John on the horse! Too bad you couldn't get mama on the horse!
And poor Hunter being tired & still having to shop

Thanks! I thought it was too funny. We really did try to talk Mama into getting on the horse but she refused.

You guys just have so much fun! I love reading about it and seeing your pictures! :goodvibes

Great updates!

We do like to have fun, that's for sure.

Great Update!! So which park is next.....do we stay on the same park schedule...LOL!!

Thanks for the advice on the ticker...maybe mine is gone now!

You need to add another ticker!

I just love seeing the parks at night. They are all so beautiful lit up. Seems like you had a very good day considering it was a SWW day.:scared1: Poor Hunter being so exhausted he felt like he could just fall asleep standing up, good thing you were able to get a bus out quickly.;) Silly John, he is such a sport about his napping in odd places.

I love leaving a near empty park at the end of the day. You seem to see more details than you see during the day.

The photos of John sleeping on the horse and sleeping standing up at the truck made me laugh out loud! Hopefully nobody heard me giggling here at work...:lmao:

Loved the choking photos, too - especially the one of John choking you and your tongue sticking out. Now that's the way to do Disney - having fun as a family and not caring what other folks might think of you! :thumbsup2

We didn't care who was looking at us when we were doing the choking pictures! We were having too much darned fun to care.

Love the updates!!!!:thumbsup2 Somehow...I got behind again..so sorry.:flower3:

Those choking pictures are too funny!!! So cool that you got some fastpasses because of it!!!:thumbsup2

Fantasmic is the best!!! We fell in love with the show when we saw it in April! You got some fantastic pictures!!:goodvibes

:lmao: I laughed out loud at those pictures of John sleeping on the truck and the horse.

What a great day you all had!:goodvibes

No need to apologzie. I am behind in all of my trip report subscriptions. I just can't seem to stay caught up.

Fantasmic is always so good! I get teary eyed during some parts of it because I'm such a sap.

We looked for that horse because River saw a picture of Hunter sitting on it in your last tr and he said "Can we do that please please please!" and I still haven't found it. I don't even recognize the store window your in front of. I will be on a mission to find it in June!

When you are leaving the park and facing the turnstiles (they are way in front of you), the horse if on the left hand side about half way down the block. You definitely need to look for it again 'cause I would love for River to get on it.

That one picture of Mama had me thinking "Oh my goodness, they wore her out and how is she going to make it all the way back to the room!"

:lmao::lmao:

Glad to know she was just playing around.

One of these trips, we are going to have to just sit and wait out the crowds. We never do. We always get into that mass of people and it's miserable. You are so smart!

Is it wrong that I've never noticed that horse before? I'm trying to picture it and I really don't think I've ever noticed it.

When I first saw the picture, I thought the same thing. Poor Mama, she was so tired. But, then I looked again and she was actually dancing!

Just wanted to let you know that I am loving your trip report. I am getting so excited seeing your Animal Kingdom day. We are taking my son for his first trip in May and can't wait!! I agree that people are rude. When we take him to the zoo, we are like you, look and then move on, especially if others are waiting. Have a very Merry Christmas.

Love all of the pictures of the details. Thanks for looking out for your TR groupies:goodvibes Also had to laugh at the John sleeping pictures:lmao:

Sometimes Mama would look at me funny when I would stop and take pictures and she'd just say "trip report?" and I'd say "yeah".

I just read your last two updates and was cracking up all through them both! The choking pictures are HILARIOUS and then top it with the various sleeping pics! :lmao: Soooo funny!

Wonderful updates! What a great way to end the day at DHS, laughter with the family and some pixie dust! :goodvibes

I'm glad that I was able to give you a few laughs. We had so much fun taking those pictures. It was a family "bonding" experience.;)

Looks like we still have the same park schedule :) I love reading your trip reports..really gets me in the Disney mood for our upcoming trip!!:goodvibes

I wish our trip wasn't so far away.

Read through your whole report today while trying to avoid studying for exams. You have a great family and I love how much fun you all have together. :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for joining us! We do have a ton of fun together. I call it "making memories". I hope that you'll continue to read along and that you did well on your exams.

I just realized another reason we should never do the DDP, I'd get sooooo confused with keeping track of those credits! :rotfl: I hope it all works out in the long run!

I like your plan on FPing the Safari and hitting the trail right next to it! :thumbsup2

If I had just taken Mama's card with us then I wouldn't have had a problem but the castmember didn't tell me that he was swiping all of the credits from my card unti he had already done it. Oh well, it ended well.

I saw those weird hanging things on another thread. I totally forget what they are, but I think they are really heavey and I think the flower stinks, if I remember right. LOL!

I need to see if somebody knows what they are. It's now driving me nutso.

Lisa, great updates (sorry I've been missing in action...I hope to stay more up to date now).

I just hope your mia wasn't anything serious.

Saying that it stinks has me remembering what it is!!!. We went on a carnival cruise in 09 and went to Belize. We stopped the bus and the tour guide got out to get one and it is a...

wait for it...

a Stinky Toe!!! Now if thats what its really called I don't know, but he opened it up and said it really stank like a really smelly toe.:rotfl2:
Finally, mystery solved with the help of the disboards gang. I think this calls for some nanners and other dancing.:banana::cheer2::cheer2::banana::woohoo::banana::banana:

A Stinky Toe!?!?! What a unique name! Doing a little dance for the mystery being solved:dance3::yay::cheer2::banana::woohoo:

How wonderful!

I love those pictures of the gorilla by the waterfull. Amazing!

I thought I had more but I guess that's it. I am going to look at my memory cards and see if I can find the video so I can post it.

I'm glad that you are enjoying my report. I imagine that your 6 year old is going to fall in love with Walt Disney World. When are you going in May? We will be there May 26th through June 4th.

I don't understand why people can't just realize that others want to see too and they should just scoot along after they've had their turn at looking.

I love Animal Kingdom! Although it is always so hot when we are there, we love it.

You have great pics of the safari! DH laughs because every time we go on the safari, I take more pictures. We have so many pictures of the safari, it's nuts. I did mess up all of our pictures of it, though, from September. I was trying to do different things with the camera and they didn't work.

(We did just find out that our camera is not the greatest. DH's phone has a better camera then our actual camera)

Great shots of the gorillas, too! And the baby! Awwww!

I do agree with you about the people who camp out in front of things. I try to get the kids up by the window for a bit, but then move on so that other can see, too. I usually try to find someone who has a child or is trying to hold a child up to see to allow them to sneak in where we are.

Your pictures are making me so antsy to book our next trip. I'm still in the negotiation stages with DH on when we are going next. I say September 2011, he says September 2012. Let's keep our fingers crossed for 2011. I think he will feel better after we pay off our April 2011 cruise. It's due in January, so I'll start really working on the booking in February so that we can make our ADRs in March.

I'm a sneaky one!

I hope like heck I didn't miss somebody's post. If I did, it was in error. I am trying to get my boss out of the country by next Monday. He's leaving for Spain on the 21st and I couldn't be more excited! Of course, the office is a bit chaotic right now. I'm hoping to get another installment posted today or tomorrow. I need to get it moving so I can start a pre-trip report for our upcoming May trip.

I am also going to post more on my blog. For those of you who haven't joined me yet, please please come on over. I'd love to have ya.

My last trip we saw the gorilla peeing in the waterfall. :) Guess the animals don't care about that as much as we humans do! :rotfl:

Great safari pics but I've got to say my favs are of the gorillas. I can't believe you got to see the baby. The ones by the waterfall are wonderful too.

I am always fiddling around with my camera too. Probably why some of my pictures are a hot mess. :rotfl:

I've never understood why people just stand there and stand there when it's obvious others want to see too.

Oh Lordy, I don't know if I could wait until September, 2012 before going back to Disney. Like you said, pay off that cruise and then start working on him again.

I love the picture of the gorilla drinking at the waterfall

Thank you! I thought it turned out pretty good for somebody who knows nothing about photography.

Now that's something I have never seen before. I know we would have gotten a kick out of that.

I love the gorillas too. I really need to search for the video I took so I can post it for you guys.

We went on the last truck on the safari of the day and it was awesome. There werent many animals but since it was teh last ride of the day the driver stopped every now and then so we could look and stuff even though they arent supposed to. It was awesome.

Lisa, love the additional Animal Kingdom photos. The gorillas are great. I hate when people "won't move on" after a reasonable amount of time.

We will be there the 25th (late) until the 4th. We are staying at POFQ. Maybe we will see you!!

He's trying to get to our house a day earlier than Lacey expects him. She has no idea!

Aw! That is so sweet!!! I hope it works out for him!

Wonderful AK pictures! I have to say that my favorite is the one of the gorilla looking right at the camera, it's like he's saying "What you lookin' at?" Great giraffe pic from the safari too!

I looooooove bypassing a big 'ol long standby line with my little FP in hand. He he. Just like you said, learn to use FP people! Or, wait, don't - because I like being able to pass you! ;)

I find myself apologizing again for not responding yet. We had a little "situation" at our house last night....or I should say this morning.

Last night, I put a load of clothes on to wash just before I got into bed which was about 11:30. John had fallen asleep on the couch so I left him there. Lacey and I went to bed and some time around 1:15 a.m. I woke up to hear water running. I looked at the clock and saw what time it was. There should be no water running. Imagine my surprise when I open our bedroom door and step out into about 3 inches of water! Yep, the washing machine ran over AGAIN! It did this same thing about a year ago. I couldn't believe it. Our entire house had 3 inches of water in it. I woke up John who immediately said a mild curse word. LOL! Lacey heard me wake up John and stepped outside her room into the water too. We all grabbed towels, afghans, blankets, anything that would soak up water. I started sweeping water out the door as did John. Lacey was mopping up water as best as she could with all the towels. At some point, John fell and landed on a trunk I had in the corner. That went over real well.....NOT!

About 4:00 this morning, we had almost all of the water out of the house. The only places there was water was underneath our huge entertainment system, underneath the dishwasher and under a couple of tables. We all went to sleep saying that was the best we could do under those circumstances. Hunter never even woke up. You can definitely tell he is a daycare baby...they can sleep through anything.

John took off work today and Lacey was at home so they pulled up all the hardwood flooring in the bathroom which was totally ruined. We are going to have to clean the carpets in the bedrooms because the water seeped in about three foot underneath the doors. Thank goodness we only have carpet in the bedrooms. Some of the pictures I had stored in the closet are ruined.

If my boss weren't leaving for Spain Monday, I would have stayed at home today too and just cried. But, we have deadlines and that's what happens when you work in a one attorney/one paralegal office.

Oh well, I'm just glad that God has given me the strength to deal with this stupid problem yet again. But, I'm going to pray that he doesn't feel the need to do any testing of my strength again any time soon.

Oh, Lisa. I'm so sorry to hear about the flooding with the washer yet again. Why does all this BAD stuff always happen at the holidays (let alone at all?)???

I hear you about working in a one lawyer/paralegal office. My best male friend is a paralegal in same type of office; he has been working until 10:00 or 11:00 at night since the middle of October.

OMG! That's really bad. I,m sorry that this happened to you. :(
Hope it gets resolved quickly and that you remain trouble free for a looooong time.

Sorry to hear of your disaster, I have had ny basement flood twice last summer, and ruin the water heater. I just try to remember that God never gives us more than we can handle, but then I think he must think I can handle alot cuz some days, whew!
