Who knew choking each other would earn us fastpasses?

I remeber when I made my lightsaber the actual saber part was clear and they had little disks that you put in the base and thats what made the color. I prefer mine because you can get the ones like what Hunter made from walmart or other store. How were the prices at t-rex? we went to go see in '10 and they didn't have prices on the menu outside.

Here is the link from the disboard dining page--they have most menu's and basic prices listed...
allears has the menu's listed as well if you are unable to find a menu you are looking for

I love John's T-shirt. Very cool Mickey on that shirt!

That food - O M G - those ribs are HUGE!!!!!!! Did John eat all that????? What an amazing meal you guys had. I love everything you ordered.

I swear the same guy with the whistle comes to the Delaware state fair every year. Our band always plays right near him and he gets the crowds!

Fun day. The CBR pool looks like a lot of fun!

Hey Lisa!!! I think I'm all caught up, been a bad disser lately, on getting caught up on TR's. LOVE the DTD update, DH loves that store, and Basin. We just went over there a few weeks ago and they discontinued the cinnamon bath bombs!!! DH was devistated!!! :lmao: :rolleyes1 I did get a few Mickey bombs, and DS got a few too.

Your DS and my DS sound alot alike. I can't go without feeding Tyler, the boy is ALWAYS hungry!!!!!!!!

I know this is off topic but I would like to ask that you all pray for Mel's (ronnmel) mother. She has a brain tumor and they think it may be cancerous. They need all of the prayers they can get. Thank you all!

Until recently, I was doing pretty poorly at keeping up with the Dis too. What? They don't have the cinnamon bath bombs any more? They always smelled sooooo good!

I ordered John's shirt online from the Disney Store and thought it was cute too.

The ribs were huge! John didn't eat them all because there were so many. And, believe me, I didn't eat all of my food either but I sure did try.

By the time the whistle guy finished his show, I was ready to knock that whistle down his throat. That didn't sound very Disney-like now did it.

Hunter has so many lightsabers that I don't even know why he had to have another one but he did.:rotfl:

The prices at T-Rex weren't too bad. Of course, they were higher than your local restaurants but I didn't think it was outrageous. If I am remembering correctly, my sampler was about $18, the burger and fries were about $12 and John's ribs were around $20. Mama got the quesadillas appetizer as an entree and I can't remember what they charged her.

Lisa--that is exactly what we used to say about CR!! And then, we stayed there one night in Sept before moving over to Poly to be with my MIL and GMIL and we fell in love with the rooms. We have decided that, unbeknownst to us (sorry, just had to use unbeknownst....I don't think I've ever typed that before), we like a little bit of modern in interior design.

Crazy!!!

Great pics of DTD and the CBR pool! We have skipped DTD the past few trips. It always just seems to take so long to get there and get back and then it's so busy when we go. We just do our shopping at the parks and are done with it. I'm sure we are missing some good stuff, but that's probably a good thing for my wallet.

When John and I first married, we were from one extreme to the other on our decorating likes and dislikes. We either liked very modern/streamlined designs or we liked the rustic design. When we were looking into building a house we went with a log home and, of course, the rustic design.

I like going to DTD but I couldn't spend all day there like I read some people do.

Ok you brought me back to my senses......lol. I have a LOT to catch up with everybody and some posting to do. The pictures of the ribs at T-Rex made me REALLY want to eat there. I love bbq ribs!!! Ok got to get busy with my reading and posting :surfweb:.

Look what the cat drug in! Just kidding! I'm glad that you're back. We've missed you.

I know this is off topic but I would like to ask that you all pray for Mel's (ronnmel) mother. She has a brain tumor and they think it may be cancerous. They need all of the prayers they can get. Thank you all!

Oh wow! I was not expecting this at all. I'm very touched, thank you.

Prayers are being said for good news and a speedy recovery and for your family as well as you travel this road together.

Very nice update! Loved the T-Rex report. We ate there in May 2010 and loved it. The portions are just huge, but the food is delish! Also loving the CBR pool pictures. The new pool had opened not too awful long before our May trip. DD is looking forward to browsing in the Magic Shop on our next trip. We apparently missed half of Downtown Disney, because we never saw parts of it that were in your photos.

Oh no! That's such sad news to hear! I hope all is well with her! My family just went through this with my Aunt. She was diagnosed back in May with a tumor, which was cancerous, and she just passed Dec. 23rd. Such a hard thing to go through! My thoughts and prayers are with her & the family! :grouphug:

Oh no! I tried to read your latest update.....but you are over the limit in that account. I am reminding myself right now that I need to go back to page 122! :thumbsup2

Lisa, I'm so very far behind. But I'm glad to see you are doing a split stay (as you know we are doing our first split stay this year) and trying a new resort (although I wish it were the CSR ;)); POR would be our choice if CS were not available...the food court is awesome. I love your photos of the CBR--you always take such great ones.

I don't know if it is just me or other people are having issues, but I am not seeing all of your photos.

Apparently, my photobucket bandwidth was exceeded again. I'm going to one of my other photobucket accounts and load up all of the CBR pictures and DTD pictures and see about reposting them.

By the way, we are now officially booked at Port Orleans Riverside. I did it this morning.

WOOHOO about being booked!!! That's just awesome. Feels good, doesn't it? I just booked our may trip the other day, couldn't get BLT with the military discount, but got #2 choice, which is the THV. Always wanted to try those, but am bummed that we can't watch wishes from the balcony!! LOL

I was so far behind I had to go back quite a few pages but now I am caught up! Great that you are going to try POR! We stayed there in May and I love it there, it was beautiful. Did you specify which section? You can get 2 different themes there, one is more rustic (Bayou) and the other one a little fancier/plantation mansion style (Magnolia Bend) We were in the Magnolia Bend Section (Our building was Magnolia Terrace- Actually it was a very good location-not a far walk at all to the main pool or the food court/shop and the main bus stop) You can see pics in My TR in my Siggie (it is not finished, shame on me! But I haven't had the chance to finish it, I planned to but then it was closed) Another perk of the POR/POFQ is the horse and carriage rides, they are really nice and about 30-45 minutes long. We did it and it's a really nice ride. I have pics of that too (Most Resort pics are on the 1st 2 pages of the TR)

Praying for the ronnmel family. I know what they are going through and every prayer helps in a situation like this.

FYI,
"Playing at the River Roost Lounge at POR on Wednesday through Saturday evenings from 8:30pm until midnight is the famed “Ye Haa” Bob Jackson. Bob performs a very popular piano sing-along comedy show with lots of audience participation" check out his website for more information at www.yehaabob.com.Bob has been performing at the River Roost Lounge since May 1997. This guy is fun and worth seeing if you have the time.

Bummer. I was hoping there was a update. :) lol we are snowed in here in the south. Which isn't that bad when you are reading Disney trip reports.
