Who knew choking each other would earn us fastpasses?

Yay! I have to wonder if that choking came to be because of frustration from not finding that darn Boba's Bounty. :lmao:

We are getting married in Cuba. I'm canadian, and it's the least expensive of the Caribbean countries, yet has beautiful beaches.
I posted pictures of my resort here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2533121 (Post 18)

Too funny! I didn't even think about choking while we were looking for the darned Boba's Bounty.

The pictures of your wedding location is gorgeous!

Star Wars Weekend Photopass pics. The first three, of course, were some that came with the CD:

You are such a good mommy!:lovestruc And I will forgive you for not knowing everyone's names! I know names, but I'm not a good speller, so I'll skip it!

Oh SWW! Brings back such fabulous memories for me. Sorry to hijack, but I have to show my favorite picture of all time. For my little guy hugging that Ewok was the highlight of his life.

Image053.jpg

We were lucky enough to meet both Chewy and the Ewok together (this was in 2009).

(Notice how my youngest still won't let go of the Ewok):rotfl:

Can't wait for more SWW!

AWESOME update of your SWW with Hunter!!!

Great call on driving to the park yourselves. Too bad you didn't get into the tram with Darth! Those stock photo pass pictures are hilarious!!!

Excellent job scoring Fast Passes for the meet and greets. So, are those timed?

Very cool pictures of the empty sections of the park. WOW!!! How nice, but I'm sure a little spooky.

The photos you have of Hunter in the Storm Trooper cutout, with Darth and Chewie are amazingly cool! He must LOVE them! Also nice pictures of the strolling characters, too.

Memory Block, Memory Block, Lisa, that's an EWOK!

I am in Star Wars Mania myself- I am chairing a space-themed mother-son dance on Nov 6

2010: A Mother-Son Space Odyssey so I am wrapped up in Wookie Cookies, Jedi Juice, Lightsaber Licorice, Pluto Popped Corn and Alien Eyes (Grapes). If you guys have any other suggestions, send 'em my way (PM or on my report, so I am not hogging this one)

But as long as I am already hijacking Lisa's thread, here is my favorite photo.

Ben did Jedi Training for the first and only time in 2008- Year of a Million Dreams. Afterwards they asked him if he wanted to go backstage and meet the characters. I was not there- back at the hotel room with my older son who was sick. My husband took ONE photo. But it is a good one!

I know, Lisa, you already saw this in my TR!

Look forward to hearing much more about your day at HS!

:lmao: Chewbacca is the Wookie from the planet Kashyyyk. The other little furry guy is an Ewok from the forest moon of Endor. ;):lmao:

Ok, Glad I'm not the only one who knew that! LOL! :rolleyes1

And I recognized some of the ones you described and some of the pictures too. LOL! But in my defense I recently watched episode 1-3.

I don't have a clue what/who boba bounty is though

I love this update from Star Wars. Having lived through the original film showing during highschool, it cracks me up to see all the excitement over it now :lmao:

BTW, I couldn't tell you any of the names either but I liked your joke, lookie, lookie, it's a wookie :rotfl:

Aren't those mother & son times at WDW like no other :lovestruc

Ok, Lisa- your photos have made my decision very, very easy. I'm definitely booking something for June. It will be a solo trip because I am guessing that no one else I know would get up at the crack of dawn & wait in line to meet SW characters with me. I am a HUGE Star Wars dork! (I still am not crazy enough of a fan to dress in character, though.)
Those stock photos are awesome & so are all of your photos! I can't wait to find out if you guys found Boba's Bounty! That's right- I said it AGAIN!!!

I'm having a blast reading about your experience with Star Wars Weekend! I'm going to have to do that sometime when my boys are a bit older. They aren't super into Star Wars, though they love playing Lego Star Wars on the Wii ;). Looks like a ton of fun and I love your little rhymes! :lmao:

Love you SWW update. As usual your reports are very entertaining and keep my interest :rotfl::surfweb:. I have to say of course Hunter is very handsome in his pictures :thumbsup2

Hi! I started reading your TR last night and I'm hooked. I've seen it around the TR board and have been meaning to read it. Right now I'm at about page 70 and wanted to make a post about what I've read so far before I forget by the time I finished reading.

First of all, your family reminds me alot of my family. Always acting goofy, going on road trips, something crazy happening (Like your crown falling out.)

Also. Hunter does have some very beautiful long eyelashes and I bet he could charm any lady with a bat of those lovely lashes. lol.

Congratulations to Lacey and Jesse on both the engagement and the graduation!

Lisa, I absolutely LOVED your posts about Star Wars Weekends. Got me pumped for my trip. I got so excited when I saw the little Ewok!!! I would give my right kidney to hug an Ewok! Holy cow. So now I'm all caught up. Only took me 3 days. lol. Your Mama seems like the sweetest little thing. :lovestruc Great post and I look forward to read more about your day at DHS and see more of your photopass pictures.

I just came across your trip report and I LOVE it! Thank you so much!

It helps me because we are taking my parents to Disney in December and they are older and I know I can't go as fast as I have done in the past, so hearing how you slowed down, helps me realize I can slow down too!

And thanks for posting about your Mom's first trip pin. My parents took us to Disney in 1976. We didn't stay onsite, and of course only to MK. I wondered if it would be OK to wear 1st trip pins, and I feel better about it now.

Thanks!!!

I'm coming back to post replies.....just give me a little time. First, I'm going to try and write an installment while the boss is still at lunch.;)

So, now that I've shown my complete ignorance of all things Star Wars, let's move on to something else we were apparently too ignorant to do/find. BOBA'S BOUNTY! :headache: And, no, this is not where the choking came into play....that happens later this evening.

We didn't have a plan to do anything else until our dinner ADR at Sci-Fi and to use the Fastpasses that we had obtained to see the Boba Fett guy and Lorne Peterson both of which were for later that afternoon. What to do? What to do? Hum....guess we'll wander the Streets of America and take these pictures:

As you can see from the pictures, a few more guests had begun to make their way to that part of the park. It was getting close to lunch time but we weren't quite ready to eat yet. We'd already wandered all over the darn park, why not wander more and go do the Backlot Tour. As we walked over, lo and behold what did we see? BOBA'S BOUNTY!
The darned thing was stuck back in the back where you couldn't even see it. But, we had walked by it at least four or five times. If it had been a snake, it would have bit us.:rolleyes1

We told the castmember at the door that we had been looking for it all morning and he laughed and said "Well, actually you're not there yet" and pointed us through another door and told us to walk around. I took a picture or two as we walked around:

SANY2830.jpg

We finally made it over to the entrance of Boba's Bounty and were told to wait. They only allowed a certain number of people in at a time. When we entered, they schooled us on how many limited edition pins we could buy and how many this and that's we could chose from. I honestly don't remember everything there was in the store but I remember Hunter bought two limited edition pins. There were some cool Star Wars Weekend shirts and Hunter wanted one of them. They ran really small so he needed an adult Large! I couldn't believe how small they were. They had a "buy X dollars and get a throw for X dollars" promo. Of course, I bought it. What's one more throw to add to our collection?:rolleyes1

While he was trying one of the shirts on, John called. He said he was up, had shaved, showered and had talked to Mama. She was going to stick around the resort for a while and he might go with her to get something for lunch and then come over to the park. Once we had made our purchases, filled out the resort package pickup slips and paid, we felt like we had actually accomplished something. I mean, we had searched for hours for that darned store. Our stomachs were rumbling which meant we needed some Disney sustenance. I don't really care too much for any Hollywood Studios counter service restaurant. There's nothing bad I can say about them but nothing really good I can say about them either. We figured we'd go on over to Toy Story Pizza Planet and get our grub on.

I took pictures along the way:

SANY2835.jpg

Usually, Pizza Planet is so busy and we can never find a table. Fortunately, the lines weren't too bad. We hopped in the first short one we saw and ordered. I ordered a Caprese salad and Hunter ordered a cheese pizza. Hunter got a chocolate chip cookie for dessert while I got the rice crispy treat.

SANY2836.jpg

I guess I didn't take a picture of Hunter's pizza.

As we were sitting there, a nice lady came to our table and said she was sorry to interrupt us but did I write a trip report on the Disboards. I told her yes I did. She was a member too! It was 3LittlePirates! I didn't ever think that anybody would recognize me.

Turns out her beautiful family was sitting right behind us and I waved to her husband and little boys. We talked a little and we found out that we live about 100 miles from each other. Isn't that the neatest thing ever? John called about that time and I told him about meeting some "neighbors" who happened to be on the Disboards too. He thought that was cool too, especially when I told them how close they lived to us. He said he was about to catch a bus and would be there soon.

I took a few pictures while we were eating and I believe that one of the 3LittlePirates is in one of them:

***I need to upload more pictures to Photobucket before I can continue. So, I guess this a good place to stop this installment.

I sure am enjoying your TR. Its okay that you didn't know the names of the Star Wars folks... I'm a huge fan, and my son is too... Own all 6 movies and watch them regularly, as well as read the books.

Not only is Queen Amidala Luke and Leia's mom, Leia goes on to marry Han Solo and they have twins too. ;)

Yeah, too much time on my hands... in the before times... (before DisBoards that is!:lmao:)
