As for the updates- I can't believe how hard it rained, those puddles were more like small lakes! I guess you should thank Stinky and Smelly for getting to IASW before the crowds. How rude some people are, I probably would have gotten the kids to step right on into their picture. You guys are so patient!

Breaking the news over the phone is VERY difficult. I had to do that alot, once at 19 when my dad committed suicide, at 22 when my mom got sick, again when she took a turn for the worst & at 25 when she passed. Now I much rather email or text anyone than talk on the phone. I pray your mom gets some much needed comfort.

Bless your heart! I'm teary eyed thinking about what you've had to go through. I've done a lot of breaking the news over the phone too. Mama is a worrier through and through and this is very difficult for her.

I think I have now posted replies to everybody. I'm a little bit scattered right now.

We just found out that my brother-in-law has brain, lung and bone cancer and it has spread to his lymph nodes. This is the same brother-in-law who has had several strokes and is a diabetic. From the tests that they have done so far, it's not looking good at all. Because of his strokes, he won't be able to withstand any surgery or chemo.

The doctors are going to run more tests tomorrow.

Please keep him and his family in your prayers!

Oh dear! Are you okay? Thanks for the prayers. I will keep you in mine as well.

I am doing well. I have some vision problems, but have been told they should heal over time. All of the facial drooping etc.. corrected itself within a few hours. I would of never thought I would have a stroke at my age, but come to find out the Drs. think I have a hole in my heart. My hubby told me guess your done with the thrill rides at Disney...He must not know who he is dealing with..LOL! I have to wear an eye patch now...My boys keep beggin me to say ARRRGHH!...I always knew I loved Pirates of the Carribean Thank you so much for the prayers...Thats what I need now!

Your family will be in my prayers!

Thank goodness you are doing well. What will they do about your heart? Is there a corrective surgery? I know that my cousin's daughter had the hole in her heart repaired.

Is the eye patch to make your eye stronger? So happy to hear that your three (make that four) princes are trying to keep your spirits up.

Lisa, I am sorry I am so behind again and as I was trying to catch up I feel so lost. Therefore, I am going back to the beginning and starting over...I guess I'll be back by the end of the weekend. I have to read between doing things so I'll be back again....

The mom of a friend of mine was recently diagnosed with cancer that had spread and was inoperable. Her prayer request was that she 'could die with dignity'. Her desire was to teach her family how to die graciously since she had previously tried to teach them how to live. I thought that was one of the most amazing things I had ever heard!

I only have a minute so I can't post individual thank you's right now. I really really appreciate all the thoughts and prayers. Things aren't looking good right now. The doctors have said that, at this point in time, it won't hurt him to smoke or eat sweets or do just about anything. (He has had numerous strokes, is a severe diabetic and has lost the marjority of his eyesight.)

They are running more tests this morning so we shall see what the results hold.

Please continue to hold us all up in prayer!
