out of interest........

I think mine is Jamie Oliver...even after the 'lamb incident' :(

What about you?

Gordon Ramsay ~ I just think he is fab. Really liked Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and Hells Kitchen USA has just finished but at least I can get my fix with the F Word ;)

Jamie Oliver, he is the only one I can understand. He keeps it basic & simple.

I like them all to be honest, but DD and I met Gordon Ramsey while he was filming an episode of one of his shows locally, and he was extremely polite and didn't hesitate in giving his autograph to DD even though he was very busy at the time. He remained absolutely professional even when he was taking a short break, and a member of the public drinking at the bar started a rather rude conversation berating him. He acted with great dignity.

I like Antony Worrall Thompson, I like the way he does good old home cooking and on Ready Steady Cook when he always makes a bacon sarnie :)

I love Delia's Christmas special! Thought the Jamie Oliver incident was terrible

 I like Jamie Oliver but my favourite has to be GARY RHODES, he does everything from fancy dinner party type food to the basic fish and chips.

At the moment it would be a hard choice between Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay :) each have their own styles but they are both very entertaining to watch.

Maybe people wont agree with me but I think it's crazy the amount of fuss that has ensued from Jamie slaughtering that lamb on last weeks programme :confused3:

We live in a world where a large number of children don't have any idea where their food comes from. They can't identify basic fruit and vegetables for what they are. I think everyone should be aware of what they are eating and where it comes from.

The programme was screened at 8:30 at night, a mere 30 minutes before the watershed and channel 4 put out a warning beforehand. There are countless programmes screened at this time and earlier that show people running around with knives and guns maiming and killing each other, yet none of these cause half the fuss that Jamies programme did.

The world is a mad place

Gordon Ramsay narrowly over Jamie Oliver. Would happily like to treat myself in eithers restaurant :goodvibes

Have to agree Alan. My troop are always keen to hear about where food comes from and we have never pretended otherwise.

I agree the lamb incident has been taken out of context....children should know what they are eating so when they are old enough they can make their own choices!!...they wont make choices if they dont know the facts!

I use to like Gordon Ramsey but the F word has turned me against him a little....he swears in front of his children all the time (and his turkeys!!)

Anthony Worrell Thompson is my fav...traditional, down to earth, gets his hands mucky and tastes his food every step of the way!!...classic!

I really like Raymond Blanc though you don't see him so often these days.

I used to love Keith Floyd, for entertainment value as well as the cooking ;)

But now I would say Gary Rhodes. I also like AWT.

I have to confess there is something about Jamie Oliver that I find intensely irritating! (Sorry)

Jamie for me all the way, he's an honest, hard working chef who is completely passionate about cooking.

The River Cottage series have covered the slaughtering of animals, no one has complained about that programme.

Wake up Great Britain and stop closing your eyes to everyday life

I like Gary Rhode, haven't seen him do anything new for a while though.

I admire Jamie Oliver for his stance on school meals and his restaurant for unemployed kids, but can't stand him as a TV cook :)

I don't think I ever actually seen Gordon Ramsey cook anything on TV - he just seems to stand in the kitchen a verbally abuse anything that moves :)

I like Gordon Ramsey :) and for a bit of eye candy as well as the chef it has to be Gino d'acampo :)
