We have a thin coating of ice on vehicles and trees, but pictures coming out of Cincinnati are showing a total mess. They can keep the snow for all I care!!

They are calling for snow in our tonight, not much, just around an inch or so! I don't want it! :teeth:

:rolleyes1 good morning from Central,IL .........when we went to bed the forcast was 3-6 inches and overnight they added 3 more inches to the forcast! it is blowing and snowing outside. were in the middle of car shopping....dh's car broke down --one more time to snowboard and sled today i guess, dd12 is out of school for spring break!

Central Illinois here, too! :wave2: We have about 3" now but it's still coming down lightly so they've cancelled school! Our first snow day! :lmao: Who would have thought it at March 21st!

I'm waiting until it stops before I attempt to dig out.

I woke up to kids mad that we didn't get the 8-10 inches we were suppose to get!! It snowing here now, so maybe it will come later and the kids will have an early release day!

We have about 14 inches on the ground...the kids are happy, they have been out since last thursday....yesterday and today were snow days!

It's a mess here 2-4 inches, but very slippery. My kids are home from school today.

Here in the Cincinnati area the snow has arrived.

They had been predicting all day yesterday, saying we'd be covered in it by midnight, but when I got up at 5:15 a.m. - NOTHING.

I went downstairs to my office to work for an hour or so, went up to check on the kids and get them moving, and it looked like a blizzard!

We've got a few inches, enough to keep the kids home from school, or on a delay, due to them not wanting to send out the buses.

Of course, I have to drive my girls, so I was the one out there cleaning off the car and shoveling :guilty: :furious:

DS is off all day, he is in high school and they close more easily as the school is at the top of a hill, and they don't want all those new teen-age drivers in danger!

I HATE WINTER!!!!

We don't have snow, but last night on our local weather, the lady was walking about the bad snow in the midwest and kind of said a boo-boo. Said that we're not going to have the gang-bang of snow like they are having in the midwest. It sounded very dirty and my DH rewound the TiVo just to make sure that we heard her correctly. We were :rotfl2: and she was probably  . :rolleyes1

I don't know exactly how much we have, but it's at least a foot out there! :cold:

No snow but an hour northwest of Chicago here and it will be 35 today with a windchill around 19. And this is the first full gosh darn day of spring? What's up with that. I have perennials that have popped up and then the emeging parts keep dying back when it keeps reverting to freezing like this. I wanna get outside and garden!!!!

We were promised 12 inches here, guess what? We have a dusting. IT is very pretty though. DH can only remember 1 other birthday where he had snow (March 23). I am jealous of you Nebraskans!
