Who is the rarest character that you have met?

Dumbo, Queen Elinor, Kerchak, Kala, Kronk, Max, & Kristoff

I didn't know Tarzan's parents existed until I seen that picture.

Megara & Hercules back in '96; Roger Rabbit in '91 at MGM Studios (n/k/a Hollywood Studios). Roger Rabbit was all over the MGM Studios and Magic Kingdom back in the 90s. But Disney pushed him out, as they do with what I guess they call their "has-been" characters.

Anyone remember the Jessica Rabbit store in Pleasure Island??? And that huge sign of Jessica Rabbit swinging her leg???

Wow, I have met/seen many of the rare characters mentioned in this thread through the years, but at the time and place I saw them, they were not rare. The only one that seemed rare was Snow White's Prince, signed "The Prince", that met with her in her Germany spot.

I don't know you really consider rare. I have met some that I do not see out as often. :)

Queen of Hearts
Jiminy Cricket
Perla and Suzy
Flik
Smee

At the Christmas Dance party we danced with Sebastian and Bolt.

Hunchback and Esmeralda at MNSSHP in 2004. Also saw Jiminy Cricket at DHS that same trip.
Tarzan at AK numerous times years back.
John Smith at a Pirate and Princess Party

At Disneyland Uncle Scrooge, Jane from Tarzan, Captain Hook, Smee, Meeko, Brother Bear bears, Max, Flik and Mushu.

My all time favorite was when I got a picture at Disneyland with my daughter and Alice, Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Dum, the Rabbit and Queen of Hearts. They were all out there just as you came into the Turnstiles. They split them up into separate lines but we were able to get a quick picture before they did.

I remember Alice, Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum, and the Queen of Hearts were regulars in front of the Mad Tead Party ride in Magic Kingdom (WDW), before the New Fantasyland was opened. Heck, I remember back in the 70s when Mickey Mouse and other characters would freely roam the park and if you were lucky you'd bump into him! I was lucky enough to bump into him and Alice when I was 4-years-old! One of my favorite Disney memories.

Rare is a relative term. Many of the characters I have seen listed by others are very rare now but several years ago they were regulars when their movies came out. We have been collecting pictures for about 20 years so the rarest one for us was

Goliath (not the lion) at a MNSSHP in 2004 or 2005. He was a large guy dressed in black.

That was one of my favorite shows growing up. I'm pretty jealous!

Not trying to hijack the thread, but does anyone have really rare autographs? I'm a sucker for collecting autographs. Not sure if it's worth starting it's own thread though...

Some of these are a probably rarer than they were 30 years ago...20160318_143354.jpg

I didn't get signatures but I remember meeting the 3 cabelleros then too. I'm not sure if I got these in Epcot or MK, but most of them came from a "meet and greet" thing where all (or most of these) characters just all jumped off these open red buses together randomly and we just went up to meet them and get signatures.

Prince John in 1976. I have a slide of it somewhere. That's right, kids. I said "slide". Google it. ;)

OMG.....that had me laugh out loud...I remember looking at slides my dad took on the side of the fridge!!!

No idea how rare the Beast is now but we literally ran into him on a walkway near the castle maybe 10 years ago. Our daughter is a huge Beauty & the Beast fan and was simply thrilled. She was probably around 10 years old at the time.

I thought I was the only one who had a hat like that signed! Mine is Donald, though! The red bus used to be a World Showcase bus in Epcot. The characters used to arrive in them daily. You could also ride on them between certain stops like the boats IIRC.

Yep, it must have been in Epcot then.

My little brother has a signed hat too. :) But it is a Figment one...like this:

I like that one! I will have to dig out Donald and see who actually signed it. All I can remember is The Fab 5...

My son has autographs from Star Wars weekends from some unusual characters, and Warwick Davis! I think he also has some Power Rangers and Disney Jr characters who don't appear anymore- Little Einsteins I know are a couple of them. Not necessarily "rare" but not out anymore or often!
